OK, found one http://www.wesh.com/news/17133977/detail.html My big ol butt she didn't know they would become evidence. Oh well, there it is. IMO, it took lot's of tide, Downey and multiple washes to get the smell out. From what I know, impossible for only one wash, and why in God's name would you wash anything taken from the "damn" car!

Exactly. Why? Why not just throw the stinky things out? They couldn't. What if the tow yard had taken an inventory of what was in the car and then LE wanted to see them and the pants were missing? Better to wash them a 100 times and produce "clean" pants and go with the "I'm stupid, I didn't know" game, than overtly destroy evidence.JMO.

OMG, this is totally crazy. So, CA thinks that AH and RM have people with money that can make people disappear. Yikes.
CA can see in KC's face that she is scared. Yeah Eienstein, she's scared, she just murdered her baby. Sorry about that couldn't help it:rolleyes:. Not too much about the clothes, she just washed them, smelled nasty, smokey, not like death but nasty. Sorry CA this just isn't sitting well with me, unless you are telling me about a rerun of Miami Vice. UHG.

Well, Amy and Ricardo really had me fooled, I never would have thought they had the money and means to make "people disappear".

I am so glad that Cindy had "other agencies" checking into their nefarious activities ! :detective: To think that Orange County would have never known about this dangerous duo had Cindy not informed them in this interview. The good thing is that Cindy "knows people" in Homeland Security and other places. Connections are important.

:behindbar:behindbar:behindbar

Excuse the sarcasm, can't help it sometimes ! :)

Why make a baby disappear when the aggravating, thieving, liar was an adult? Make her disappear, not the baby they all loved or at least liked.

  • #245
Bottom line...Cindy called LE because she did not want to be blamed for a murder. The car was in her name.

Perhaps kc placed Caylee in the yard after the murder...in the sandbox or playhouse. Then, there is a small possibility that CA knew the baby had died. Maybe she suspected that the baby was in the yard. When she realized that Caylee was gone from the yard, she wanted answers from kc where Caylee was. When the car arrived, smelling of decomp, she had to clean it up for several reasons. I bet she was embarresed by the mess. The other being, to protect kc from arrest....clean pants may mean she wasn't in the car when the body was there.

I heard LE say it was very clean....hmmm. She may have found the tape and maybe some writings of kc. I am willing to suggest the car contained a treasure trove of evidence.

Wouldn't they have needed a warrant to search/impound the car? They took the car less than 24 hours later. It probably took that long to get the paperwork completed and make it all legal. If they had obtained evidence without that warrant, the evidence would be inadmissable in court.

If they had smelled the car that would have been probable cause to impound it I am sure.

I'm willing to theorize right along with ya.....especially about the yard.
Go to picture # 49 I have asked many questions about this picture. None have satisfied me as of yet. Why here on the side of the house at night on this date that is stamped on the picture. A picture of essentially nothing but since we know now what we know, maybe a very important picture.

I have to agree with you, Dot. According to phone records, etc, KC was talking to CA quite regularly during the month after she left home. If there was a big old fight before she left, then I think CA thought KC was cooling down & maybe getting her act together with Caylee. After a couple weeks, she misses Caylee and writes the Myspace post about her being missing, probably trying to guilt KC into coming home for the 4th without really begging her. I think CA really believed that KC was in Jacksonville with the nanny, etc. Then came the car impound notice. When they brought it home, yes they smelled the decomp. But, knowing they talked to KC quite often, they did not really assume it was a human death that occured in there. If you have smelled human decomp, you might recognize it but then wonder if an animal would smell like that too if it died in there in the heat and didn't get removed right away. In their anger at the car issue, I think they automatically cleaned it up--thinking maybe dead animal, removed clothes, etc. Maybe they were thinking they would sell the car and punish KC, knowing she would have to come home and try to get her wheels.

I think once KC was brought home and the Caylee hadn't been seen for a month story came out when she talked to LA, then all hell broke loose and
the car smell call to LE took place--the only time CA was truthful--she was frantic in fact. KC immediately jumped on the "who took her" question from CA and came up with the nanny. That's when CA began the cover up--for fear of something happening to Caylee. I don't know how long it took her to realize the truth but her mind would not accept death at that point.
As always, JMO.

She KNEW it was the smell of a dead body- nothing else smells like that.
She is a Nurse, she knew. That's why she told the 911 operator what it was.
George KNEW when he got in the car that it was the smell of HUMAN decomposition.
If she was not a Nurse and he was not an ex-cop they might get away with bluffing, but they both knew.

Yes, GA knew at the tow yard as the tow yard guy told him the car smelled just like another car that a man committed suicide in. GA also said in an interview he knew immediately what the smell was and wanted to look in the trunk with the tow yard guy with him and all he could think was something like, "Please don't be Caylee or Casey", this may not be exact but something like it. Yes, GA knew the smell and as a nurse that has done any kind of wound care that has had decaying/dead tissue, one knows the smell. It is a distinct odor. It can not be confused with old pizza.
What amazes me is the fact he still chose to get in the car and drive it home instead of calling police right then and there. There is where GA true character glares at you and one has to question every thing he has done since.

I'm surprised that they didn't smell the decomp while in the garage which in itself should have been probable cause to search the vehicle without a warrant - maybe that's not enough, but it should be.

I was reading one of LA's statements again today and LE was not in the garage, only KC and LE and the stench coming from the car was so bad according to LA that he kept having to go in and out of the house. According to him it was horrible.

I don't think they were near the garage. cindy did not lead them there and the car was locked inside of a closed up garage, most likely with all the car windows closed

I bet when LE reviewed the tape, they discovered the car problem. Cindy and George had many hours to work on car.

I wonder why the A's didn't offer to LE that KC's car was sitting in the garage. If you take away them being in cover-up mode it makes no sense at all. You'd want to give LE all the puzzle pieces as soon as possible. If they didn't know something was terribly wrong and that KC was involved I believe they would have insisted on showing them the car and having it printed since GA was former LE. Then again, if they weren't in cover-up mode I agree with other posters that LE would have been called from the tow-yard based on the smell alone.

Hi Truth,

Thank you for the link to the pics. That picture sure is out of place. Why was it there. Who took it? last pic taken before arrest?

They weren't through with the cleaning. they may have wanted a warrant....it was in their name, not kc's

Don't know really. Just an odd picture. I wonder too if the date stamp is correct. Just fishing for answers or theories, I had only 1 a year ago, now I have about 50.

Of course they were in cover-up mode...forced there after their car was found.

However; from the very beginning, they were aware that Caylee was in big trouble. For two weeks, Ca did not initiate calls to kc. By the 30th, she was.

Why didn't cindy call LE the first day or two if she were worried about Caylee? She knew kc didn't have a job, no where to live, was not very responsible and had a temper. Yet she did nothing..she let precious Caylee in the care of a person who was not capable of being a mother w/o constant supervision.

She could have reported the car stolen, or told LE the story and concern. They may have done the favor and tracked her for child's welfare...SHE DID NOTHING...she could have found friends who had an idea where to find her....just like she did when her car was found.

George did NOTHING either....he is a weak man and incapable of handling any situation w/o Cindy's approval and lead.

But lo and behold, when it comes down to them possibly being implicated in a crime, they do something.....way too late. If that car was not found, it would be a long time before anything would have been done, AND that would have been because somebody outside their circle reported it.

Yeah, thanks Truth, that picture is pretty freaky considering the accompanying photographs.
