I doubt that this was the first time that Misty had ever turned off her cell after a fight with her boyfriend. That's a typical 17 YO response. It's better than hanging up - it irritates the heck out of the boyfriend! He probably tried to call her back several times and then gave up, knowing that she turned off her phone.
Why would Ron have ever imagined that A) Misty would have taken it out on the children or B) Misty would have done something rash which would lead to something happening with the children? I'm sure he saw it as an "adult" arguement that had no bearing on Haleigh or Jr. If Misty had a past history of abusing these children, then I would agree with you, but we have never heard that this was the case.

I am not saying that RC would suspect or surmize A or B but more C and D, i.e., she had friends over and was partying, having sex and, taking drugs -- again.

Given the weekend and the dust had not yet settled I would be concerned that MC was up to her tricks, so yes, I'd check on the kids welfare if MC is zoned out and clearly irresponsible.

He was not expecting the kids to be harmed by MC but given recent actions it was an increasing risk.

I've vacationed on Anastasia Island for over 20 years...you can buy beer or wine at Publix, Walgreens etc on Sunday...MOO

I live on the west coast of Florida and beer is sold on Sunday.

I am wondering if beer etc., can't be sold anywhere after 3:00 AM to "maybe" 7:00 AM. Sort of like when the bars close.

Lets face it, we cannot even get clarity on who collected Haleigh from school and what time, never mind the timeline from 3pm to 3am.

MC is like KC in that she just saw a '3' on the clock, keep it loose, like KC said she went to work across a 4 hour period.

RC was going through h3ll at that time with his life, friends, money, misty --- it was escalating and running out of control just like KC and CA.

I am looking for something specific to Putnam County as Florida has a standard law unless the county chooses to change the hours - such as Miami Dade you can buy it 24/7. Also the percentage of alcohol content makes a difference, what you are getting in gas station is not the same as what you buy at a liquor store. I will put link in if I can find something specific to Putnam County.

You would think finding out the beer sales law would be such an easy task. LOL NOT.

Ron's temper? Hmm only twice has Ron's temper been proven. Once when his little girl was missing and the second time when some knuckledraggers came uninvited late into the night to try and steal his wife. Geez I think I would be pretty upset myself.

We know nothing about Ron's life hell as you call it before any of this happened unless of course you have a link to prove otherwise.

The only other thing I can think of is that you were one of Ron's associates and that's how you know all about this..but what does that make you?

Oh, for Gosh sakes! It was an argument over babysitting someone else's kids. It wasn't such a huge deal to Ronald that he would leave work. It probably did tick him off if she turned off the phone which I am sure was her childish intention. However, since he was working...he probably didn't think too much about it and figured he would deal with it when he got home. It wasn't something to rush home over. Maybe he didn't want kids overnight on a school night so they had to be responsible for them the next morning or something.

I also wonder if these were not Tommy's children. Maybe Tommy got ticked because they could not go to a party that night and leave his kids with Misty. It could be Tommy was at the mh earlier to butter up Misty to babysit, too.

LE has stated RC picked Haleigh up from bus stop, we now have LE, PDM, Attorney, TM all say RC was at work that night from 4pm - 3 am. I will take these peoples word for the information over emails and rumors.

Sorry - whatever the provocation, Ron responded with violence. That contradicts the poster's assertion that we only know of two instances in which he lost his temper. I'm sure there is a statistic somewhere correlating the % of violent episodes with those that result in LE charges. I don't have that stat, but I'm guessing it's not 1 for 1.

There was a question raised as to proof of RC's temper and his arrest record was kindly provided as an indication of that and now we are splitting hairs dissecting that as to who was involved.

The point is/was RC has a temper regardless of who surfaced that anger... there is no excuse for assault even if incited by an ex.

Busy, some won't believe it if someone else is arrested, tried, and convicted that Ronald didn't do it. There will be people who still swear he wasn't at work, didn't pick up Haleigh, and disposed of her near PDM, imo.

I have learned it is a losing battle. Some simply don't want to face the facts or have the truth come out.

I guess my point was I do not see this as proof of violence, as there was no physical altercations in either - threats made is alot different than someone taking fists to someone.

I do realize fist were used in the latest incident - while I don't agree with fighting I need to see more info and if the SA decides to continue with the charges. Daughter missing for 6 months, the amount of stress being inflicted on this family is tremendous - they are human.

I do not agree that RC is prone to violence and I do not believe the two charges prove that he is in any way shape or form. I think you have to look at the situations individually.
