Are you saying it is impossible for someone to keep a child alive in the woods? Didn't Elizabeth Smart start out in the woods behind her house while people were searching everywhere for her? She was kept alive for 9 months.

In fact she could hear them calling her name!
She was also held for most of the time very close to her home and
was taken out in public many times.
Shawn Hornbeck was found and I believe he was also very close to his home.

IMO there any many ways that TES searching could lead to finding Haleigh
alive and I don't see why it hurts anyone to believe that she still is.

Reading the thread helps, but I will explain it. It was mentioned that Ronald should give up custody so Rj could roam the farm freely with the other children living at Crystal's home. I brought it up that a crackpipe was found on the property during the latest search by LE. I do not agree that Ronald should turn him over to roam that property for this reason:

This is fairly current and drugs/paraphernalia were found on the property where Crystal lives with Chad. I did not mention anything about them using the drugs, but we haven't found out who the person knows there or why the person was on the property.

Someone made a comment about Ron's drug use and I said it
goes both ways in the past!
SS brought up the recent crack pipe.
Recently they found a crack pipe...
I believe in a truck when MG land was searched.
Thus the current.

I guess I should say that my current meant since Haleigh went missing.
Not years ago.
And I still stick by MO.
IF there are any concerns about drug use it shouldn’t be about past use
since it's been proven that BOTH sides had done drugs.
It should be about current and IMO a crack pipe being found on MG land
would lead me to think that CS family or someone who lives close is
was just recently in the need of hiding a crack pipe!
I have no clue who used it but I doubt that Ron or someone on his side
of the family would drive there just to hide their crack pipe!

BBM Actually I find it very easy to believe the Ron or someone who knows Ron very well could have put the crack pipe there after calling in a tip for LE to search the land and dig up a horse carcass. LE finding that pipe was very convenient, wasn't it.........Ron, Misty and the two Grandmas IMO had plenty of time to "cleanup" Ron's MH of any drug paraphernalia before the 911 call. That has always been my opinion. But, of course some people are ruling out all the prescription medication that Ron is on due to injuries..........prescription drugs are all through his arrest records. It would be interesting if LE even found Ron's prescription drugs.

I really don't see how it matters how old she was or if she was alone!

She was taken out of her house by a stranger who left NO evidence
and no forced entry. Taken through her back yard into the woods and kept
there in a cave type thing they dug in the dirt. I'm not sure how long but it was
for at least a few days because she could hear the search people calling her
name and even recognized her uncles voice.

IMO if someone can take her and keep her so close to home then IMO
it's not impossible the same thing happened to Haleigh.

Do YOU know when NeJame was contacted? Was it before or after Ron was arrested for the incident with Tommy? And, there is no witness tampering charge.

I'd venture a guess that NeJame was contacted prior to any of his recent legal issues. Perhaps one of our sleuths that don't care for Ron ought to make contact with NeJames office and find out when the initial contact from Teresa was made? I'd do it myself, but no one would believe my answer should I be able to obtain one.

IF contact was made prior to the current legal issue with Tommy, then what would the "excuse" be for the Cummings family contacting NeJame be? Certainly not deflection or "good PR" as people are claiming. Could it possibly be the that they actually want HaLeigh found? That they are tired of sitting around waiting for LE to find her and they brought in outside help to not only get HaLeigh's face into the media, but also help to FIND HER? They LOVE their baby and want her home? :waitasec:

I stand to correct myself. You are right, at this time there is no charge for witness tampering, just an accusation on the police report of witness tampering. I personally don't think that Ron had anything to do with calling Nejame, I think the call came from Teresa on her own. It just coincided with one assault charge and another investigation into an accusation of witness tampering and retaliation against a witness on the assault charge.

The "excuse" could be that Teresa wanted Haleigh searched for without incriminating Ron. For that delicate issue, Nejame is most probably one of the best attorneys for that reason. He could definitely turn the attention away from "family" problems and get the public moving and thinking again about finding Haleigh. I hope it works, I hope that Haleigh is found.

Because Haleigh is 6, 5 when she went missing, she was a special needs child, there is no way she has the life skills alone to live in the woods for months- Cops say stranger didn't take her and I haven't noticed anyone in the family missing, have you?

Ron doesn't go to Baker County, how could he "plant" the crack & pipes there? When Junior is exchanged for visitation, it is done at a location that is not anywhere near Marie's home in Baker County. How in the world would Ron plant drugs on the farm? That's a HUGE STRETCH, IMO.

As to the search of the farm, LE said they didn't receive a tip. Apparently the Griffis family told LE that THEY had buried an animal (IIRC, it was a horse) on the property, and therefore, LE felt the need to be thorough and went to the farm and dug up the animal remains to confirm that is in fact what was buried there. Sure, that sounds hinky, IMO, but that is the story LE gave.

"The property owners said there were buried animals on the property so we need to turn over every stone to verify that's what it is," he said. "There's no reason to believe it's not an animal."

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office wants to stress that the search was not prompted by tips. Captain Dominic Piscotello tells Action News the Griffis family told detectives when Haleigh first disappeared that they’d buried animal bones on the property in Glen St. Mary. Investigators wanted to verify those claims. So far, they’ve verified that all of the bones they’ve examined belong to animals.

I don't however, like the fact that crack pipes, and crack was found on a property where there are 4 children living, and Junior when he is visiting. I'm not making any claims as to whom the drugs belong, simply saying any one of those children (with the exception of Crystal and Chad's baby) could have found those drugs while they are out playing on the property.

Special needs? Do you mean she has a medical condition? Yes she does. At the time she went missing, it was also reportedly under control and she wasn't taking any medication and only needed a check-up with her doctor every 6 months.

And again, as has been repeated over and over, who is claiming HaLeigh is "living in the woods" by herself?

Also, have you done any research into the family trees of either side of these families? If not, give it a try. There are plenty of people that could have HaLeigh hidden away.

Look, I know all families on the planet have members who are a little weird, the world is suspect, except the LE think a family member or someone close to the family took her- Once again, has there been any noise about a missing family member on both sides besides Haleigh? How about her medical care, do you know if the missing fam member is also a Doctor who can treat her?

Two words I would like to address.
Who said that Haleigh would be in the woods alone besides you?
I'm not sure where your getting the alone part.
Elizabeth Smart was not alone... she had two crazy people with her!
And Elizabeth Smart was not taken by a stranger she was taken by
a man her dad had hired to work on their house!

IMO someone could have taken Haleigh and still have her.
IMO it doesn't have to be a stranger and IMO just because LE said they don't believe it was a stranger that does not mean it had to be someone in her family!

The family trees is very complex, if you take the time to do some searching there are several family members on the Sheffield side who have moved and relocated within the last 4 months.
