Misty wasn't 16 when she admits to entering into a romantic relationship with Ronald last August?

Ronald isn't an adult well past the age of the law where one can say that having a relationship with a 16 year old is legal?

It is not a crime in the state of Florida for a man Ronald's age to engage in a relationship sexually with a girl Misty's age?

I don't give a flying flip whether it seems to be the social norm. The FACT is, it is illegal in the State of Florida and among other things, I am appalled that he got a pass on this.

If Ron had not been sleeping with a child who is a known drug user, and left her in charge of his kids, this story may have never happened- That's really not hating, its more like observing-

She was left in the care of an immature, lying, drug using teenager who was used as the sexual partner of the father of Haleigh. It is not about your point. Those are the facts of this case.

Facts yes but not relevant to the case IMO.
ETA: I guess I need to clarify I do not believe Misty is all these things above. My opinion of what is a fact is an underage minor smokes and is involved in a relationship with an adult.

Yeah, I mean Ron left Misty in charge of the kids, another fact-

And I have no idea what evidence that suggests she is alive that was left, I know the cops have never even said anything of the sort- but anyways, I believe LE has Ron Cummings in their sights and believe he is responsible for whatever happened to Haleigh, jmo-

ETA: Flossie I now understand what you ment I have added a further comment to clarify the facts as I see them. Minor smoking and in a relationship with an adult all other statements where the opinions of the poster I quoted and not mine.

And Ron knew Misty was with "white boy greg" and had realtions with her, and still allowed her to watch his kids and continue playing house immediately upon her arrival back "home",AND her brother admitted they were on the porch smoking pot the day Haleigh went missing AND THEN he married her. Questionable judgement as I said before.

Because her parents allowed her to become a legally emancipated teen, signing off on their parental rights and responsibilities. That happens all the time. Doesn't make it right that Ronald Cummings was sexually active with her while still NOT emancipated. And as far as I'm concerned, if they hadn't gotten married, her emancipation would still not excuse his actions. I wonder if it would for the court of law, either.
