Taking into consideration tampering with a mailbox is a federal crime and Ron C readily admitted to Tim Miller and Mark NeJame that he put the rat in the mailbox and even took Misty along for the ride to see how well she could lie to LE, I would hope that incident isn't just swept under the rug or washed out to sea like everything else that someone down there within the system has allowed him to get away with.....JMO

At the present time, I'm still confused as to WHY more pressure has not been applied to him and WHY LE hasn't managed to find a way to lock him up and keep him in jail considering it has been revealed that witnesses have come forth from PDM that have stated he came in late to work on the afternoon/evening of the 9th of February... Witness have also spoken with FDLE and advised them that Misty picked up Haleigh that afternoon...It should be apparent to LE that Ron C has lied through his teeth concerning two very important events he claims he did on Februray 9th and 10th...And LE knowing his lies are ALL pertinent in regards to a missing child, why LE is allowing him to still walk around FREE, baffles me...JMO

Yep, it is kind of amazing how much "stuff" (check his unexpurgated rap sheet) RC skates by on. It does make one wonder how things are "run" down in PC - is there a good ole boy network, is he a snitch (they skate on a lot), or is he just too crafty for them hillbilly police types?

'Course this is just my opinion, and me asking questions which should have an answer but don't - although they could be in the next election down that way. Sometimes I wish I lived down there, but most times I don't. If I did, I'm sure I'd be gator bait by now and there wouldn't be any suspects.

Jeff Hardy is a new sheriff in Putnam Co. And I agree that he has alot of answering to do, especially about Haleigh's case.

Er, that has been mentioned a time or two. I believe some members of the Cummings tribe calls him by his first name, like GGMS. I wonder if he's related somehow? Don't know for sure, just asking.

Noticed that too Trident...what's up with that, btw. The arrogant look on rc's face when asked that question on the morning show says it all. rc sure got a smirk when he said his name., John Merchant..I like to slap that smirk right off his face. Merchant worked the Drug Unit in Putnam County for many years. The Cummings family must know him well as they refer to him by his first name.....lol.

I really thought when FDLE Joliceur came on board, this case would get solved. Things were moving well up to the point when rc came in to answer questions about the phone calls (with and attorney). As I recall, LE was only allowed to ask him about calls and nothing else.

RC gets out of charges often by having a private attorney...many can't afford that.

Regarding the mailbox, Federal Offense for that crime is minimal, a slap on the wrist...very, very minor. What they have rc charged with in this case is "Intimidation of a witness"...that is punishable. I thnk his attorneys must be delaying this till after Haleigh is resolved....can't think of any other reason. rc and his attorney use Haleigh as his excuse for EVERYTHING. If rc and mc were cooperating, the case would move forward....they are not...they are lawyered up. LE's hands are tied unless they get evidence to hold them. We saw this with Casey....they still haven't tried her on the check fraud...d@#n shame too, imo. If LE were to charge rc with something minor, he would bail and he would NEVER speak to LE....that's his MO.

She didn't live on Rita and still doesn't, but she changed her addy in March this year to say she does; however, she is still living in Fruitland Park with Jeff H. BBM. I don't think RC is speaking with LE now anyway, so what has changed? He didn't even say a lot on the 911 call except he was at werk, and wasn't able to speak with LE when they arrived. After that he said the bed was made (can we play Misty under the bus, please), and by then he lawyered up all in the cause of finding his beloved daughter. Remember, he would give his life to have her's BACK. Whatta dad.

Interesting. Maybe if you find the address of the pole pulsator you'll find him. Shouldn't be too hard for any red-blooded male in Satsuma with a few dollar bills to find out.

Alachua Police Dept is over 60 miles away. Where was she living when she worked for them. How do you know she really was employed with them? For some reason, she doesn't strike me as the type to be a dispatcher.

You're correct that it apparently was going on long before Haleigh was reported missing.

WELAKA - A Lady Lake man was arrested on a series of drug charges early Thursday morning after he was stopped by a wildlife officer investigating possible game law violations, the sheriff's office said.

Ronald C, 19, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis under 20 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a drug without a prescription. Cummings was booked into the county jail on $3,500 bond.

Dep. Merchant was not one of the ofcrs involved per the PDN article.

On Sept 5, 2009, rc called and reported to police that he was being harassed (ya gotta laugh at this one, folks). rc calls and reports that Tim C called him a " azz beotch"....lol. What kind of people call police because they were called a name? Tim called to speak to Misty....apparantly not successfully.

rc is one entitled, very special, legend in his own mind...OMG!
