Emeralgem, I am not Bluesky but I believe that it was during one of the tests that Tim Miller helped to set up that I first heard Misty say that she tried to call Ronald but he didn't answer because he was pulling in, when he came in she said she was frantic and she asked Ronald if Haleigh was with him.

I can't remember exactly which test it was, but I remember that her statement peaked my interest some because I hadn't heard that before. I would have to go back and search the threads or listen again.

Yes Elle, Misty said those exact words during one of the tests TM arranged for her to take.

IMHO...Joe O may have been called upon to HELP Tommy clear out some drugs that were in that MH before 911 had to be called, but I doubt seriously cousin Jo and Tommy helped Ron C dispose of Haleigh..But then again they may have IF he didn't have any close family memebers to help him...
But I do not believe cousin Jo or Tommy hurt or kidnapped Haleigh...
I also feel certain that IF they were called on to assist in any way, Ron C was fully aware of their involvement....JMO

Hi Pondering. I agree with you the LE were not interested in rc and his sleeping with minors at that point in time.

However; they could have been very interested at a later date when all this dies down. If Misty did not marry him, she could have asked for charges later to be brought against him. He married her to avoid that charge.....just in case she decided to be vengeful.

I know his main point was to tell the media that JO was not a SO as they were reporting. However, he also said that JO was at the MH and that was the reason for them going out of state to question him. The problem is Hardy wasn't specific on what time JO was there....d#$#$m!

RC denies JO being there or a fight or an argument or a gun stolen. Why did misty say there was one. She must have told TN because TN reported it also. Of course, now that has changed, along with her address.

Some people question JO because he left so suddenly. I heard he left quickly because he was violating parole by being in another state...can't verify.

Well if this is the case, then TN must be very upset with Ron for divorcing Misty and sad she doesn't get to spend Christmas again with her and Ron this year. I wonder if TN will call Misty to wish her a Happy Birthday?

I heard they were a young couple with an infant and had moved out two weeks after Haleigh disappeared. It was said through the grapevine that they told somebody that MH was loud and busy at night....cannot verify.

I believe he was aware of what happened and who was responsible, plus he could have played a part in helping dispose of drugs, even evidence..I think he just wanted the HELL-O out of Dodge...He knew he was in BIG trouble...

IIRC Cobra interviewed the couple with the baby, and yes they moved out shortly after Haleigh disappeared.. The mother stated that there were cars coming and going all night that particular night....

Especially because I'm one that doesn't believe that it had anything to do with Misty's age and the fear of arrest because of it. I don't really believe that LE cared too much about that to be honest.. . jmho........

I agree with you Pondering Mind, I think Misty probably could be called an "Old Maid" in that area for not being married at the old age of 17. I don't think LE even considered it illegal, to tell you the truth.

Well, I'll admit that I'm a cynic, a pessimist and skeptic. I feel that if I look at everything in a negative way then if something good happens, it will be a pleasant surprise.

Well now, we have one neighbor saying it was quiet and that the maroon car was there the last time he looked, early evening. So what did rc drive to work, his granny's red pickup truck which he can use any ole time.?

To confuse matters, the opposite neighbor says the MH is loud and busy at night. If this one is true, they are in to partying.

If it was busy that night, would be good to know what cars were there......

All I can say if any of those agencies haven't made a connection between Ron C and his daughter's disappearance they need to change their motto to..

I just listened to that Greenwood tape and am more confused than ever. He mentions 2:13am.....Yikes!

These LE are really mixing all kinds of things...don't know what to think...

I found this tape back in Oct, and have mentioned that Greenwood stated TN was at the MH in this video before. He also says the call came in at 2:13 or shorty after 2:am. So if he is correct and not confused; Misty called her mom to tell her Haleigh was missing and that is why the radio transmission talks about Tyler and Haleigh being seen 1 to 1 1/2 hours ago. Lisa may have call the non emergency number and misspoke about when Haleigh was last seen, because Misty called her and said "hey, she not here what do I do?" Misty's call to Lisa may have been at 2:13 or around that time. So not thinking, she tells them she was there when Misty put her to bed, she got up, to pee and when she came back she was gone. That was the first version Misty gave. So the cop makes that statement, last seen 1 to 1 1/2 hours ago according to that non emergency call. The non E call could have been made closer to when Ron came home, but the cop is getting a statement from Lisa or Tommy. This would make sense because of the woman yelling.... I think she was scared to call the police and she waited until Ron got home. Since the non E call is not on tape and nothing is being released because no arrest has been made, we don't get to know about that call. The statement in the paper said, that evidence outside the MH contradicts Misty's statement. Is this the evidence? Lisa called the Non E line and they know Misty is lying about the time frame? This would explain why Lisa said she thinks Misty knows something, and why the pressure is on the Croslins.

Trident, I live in this State and couldn't agree with you more. Unfortunately, it's going to take people like us from all over the country, maybe the world to change the lack of urgency surrounding cases like this one and change the laws against the perpetrators as a deterrent. They need to made accountable for thier actions by making the punishment fit the crime.. From where I sit, up to now, it's all been driven by budgets and lack of proper personnel. The kids deserve better protection than that but everyone comes to Florida believing that thier low taxes are going to buy quality services. It just isn't possible. You get what you pay for. Sad, but true.
