I am sure yourself, and many others, don't care about how RC is spending the holidays. I was just commenting to someone that did. : )

As far as RC growing a set and marching to LE and more or less confessing to the accidental death and cover up of his child, I don't think that you are going to ever hear of that for 2 reasons.

1. RC didn't harm Haleigh accidentally or purposefully. jmo
2. RC has no faith in certain members of LE and in my opinion he would not "march in to PCSO" in hopes of them uncovering where Haleigh is. jmo

I just have a question to your #2 statement (which I bolded).
If he's lost faith and hope in LE, (even just certain members) who does he exactly expect will find his missing daughter? Do you think that's why he is supposed to have hired a PI?

If I found out tomorrow by LE that Ron Cummings...

1) accidentally caused HaLeigh's death by use of physical force/violence to discipline her in a moment of rage - I would not be surprised.

2) accidentally shot & killed HaLeigh in the midst of a heated argument with Misty whereby he was threatening Misty with a gun; when Misty attempted to get the gun out of his hand, the gun fired hitting HaLeigh - I would not be surprised.

3) knew for the past 10 months that Misty lost control that night with HaLeigh; that he left HaLeigh and Jr. with Misty knowing that she was exhausted from the past week's partying/use of drugs and the on-going issues/fighting between the two of them and he covered for her because he knew if he told the truth, he would surely lose custody of Jr. - I would not be surprised.

Additionally;

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Misty put HaLeigh in danger by taking her to places where there were extremely questionable individuals and/or allowing these extremely questionable individuals around HaLeigh at the home when Ron was at werk. It wouldn't be surprise me to know that Misty dropped just enough information in the presence of someone/somewhere with extremely sick & evil intentions - enough information for that person to know that HaLeigh was home alone and that the back door was left unlocked so that she could slip in just before Ronald got home thinking she was so-so smart----

Those are the scenerios that wouldn't surprise me in the least in this case. JMHO -

Hi nms... re bold, I felt from early on that MC's absence was a distinct possibility. But in the end it just didn't explain RC's behavior in the interim IMO. Re most everything else here, we agree altho a gun scenario has never really been at the top of the list, because it would in all likelihood have been heard--and left some sort of trace evidence somewhere. So, that's been moved to the bottom of my list. Like LE's list of POI's tho, it admittedly isn't a very long list of scenarios. Still there are others I consider more likely. JMO

Ron didnt sing her praises, he just married her....then when he saw it was bad for his image he divorced her.....shucks for them.....gonna bet though somehow hes gonna be dealing with Misty again....one way or another...

I agree with your post. But, remember he married Misty because that's what Haleigh would have wanted.
See how stupid that sounds?

Is it true Crystal's boyfriend Chad say HaLeigh and Junior did not want to go back to their father after a weekend visit with their mom?

Hello all :-)

I'm going to be helping out with the Haleigh Forum and am going to be familiarizing myself with your threads here. :) Let me know if I can help you with anything!

I'd also like to mention to those who don't know that I am on the fence regarding what happened to Haleigh. I do think that Misty knows more than she's telling. I feel that either sides of the coin on Ron could be plausible, those who feel he is innocent and those who feel he has something to hide; both have excellent theories.

I just hope she is found soon! That is the main thing to me and to all of us!

:grouphug:
Would you like me to recommend someone who can "Pimp your spacecraft?" You will soon need bulletproof windows/bodywork/etc Oh Kimster, eat your Wheaties!!! I think you will be a great addition to this forum!!! Good Luck!!

Didnt RC just say to LE "Now go find my daughter?"
I think it was in one of his last few interviews...

He made it as a general statement to everyone who felt that he had married Misty for many reasons, none of them having to do with "what Haleigh wanted" or "love" ... It was a classic "I dare ya" chin jutted comment. I wonder if his own PI has come up with anything yet.

IMO Misty should never have returned to Ron after her weekend with WBG. I think Ron was terrorizing Misty & Joe for partying together while he was at werk and since Tommy lived closeby and Joe hung out there, Misty called Nay Nay to avoid dealing with the issue because "it was between Ron and Joe".

IMO Misty fled from ronald the weekend before HaLeigh disappeared because things were getting way out of hand, yet she returned with a condom. I suppose some couples escape problems by having sex.

There was a disagreement between Misty and Ron on Monday evening while he was at werk and I can't fathom why and how Misty could return to this man's bed and be able to sleep peacefully alone under these stressful conditions. I believe Misty was very unsure that night about her future with Ron and couldn't sleep if she tried.

Did Ronald have his children the weekend Misty distanced herself from Ron and Joe perhaps because she was in fear of her own life?

Unless you can back that up with something? A link, pictures, something? Because I have it on good authority (ie - someone who was INSIDE the vigil) that there were no jars, jugs or donations being collected at all. There is video from the vigil at Action News - I didn't see any collection jugs.

VIDEO:

There's candles and presents for HaLeigh. That's about it.

Really? Did they have much of a turn-out? Was it mostly just family? What all did they do at the vigil? [i.e., a prayer service, a photo presentation, etc.]

I'm just curious. I've never been to any kind of vigil. thx

Thanks

Well I'll double-dare Ronald; Start telling law enforcement the whole truth and nothing but the truth so that they CAN find your daughter - get off your arse and start talking some truth!!

I dunno if whips is here or not, but she might say something like:

The Truth and Ronald are strangers. [jmo]

I wish I was good at making you-tube videos, because I would like to watch one that has every videotaped statement Ron has made, every reaction to every question asked, every word that passed his lips. Maybe then, I too could believe he is incapable of causing or covering up whatever happened to li'l Haleighbug.

I will confess that I really cannot imagine him being smart enough to get away with it this long.

How about an in-depth interview with a real journalist, Ron? I don't think LE thinks it will jeopardize the investigation. I don't think there's any real worry that it might cause the "kidnappers" to harm Haleigh.

I have a few questions I'd like to suggest to the interviewer.

Someone was looking for a pic of the John boat behind GGS's house the other day but I can't remember who or what thread I was on at the time. I found one that I had so I'll post it here and in the GGS's thread, hoping that whoever was asking about it will find it here.

The thought has even crossed my mind that the reason the bandage was on Ron's next for a couple of days after Haleigh's disappearance was because a bullet had grazed the side of his neck and wounded it. JMO

IIRC, yes, he did say that in the 1 on camera interview I have seen him do.

Also, Marie stated in an interview with GVS that Haleigh and Jr. said they had been abused in the past while in Ron's care.

VAN SUSTEREN: Marie, do you know of any problems in that home?

GRIFFIS: In the past, Haleigh and Junior have told us that, you know, they've been hit and stuff like that, but up to this point, everything was fine.

Actually, nms--and twall--a bullet intended to target or threaten MC but which she manages to elude (as farfetched as it appears at times more based upon the lack of physical evidence and witness hearing anything, than RC's temperament or capabilities) which strikes and fatally injures Haleigh, truly isn't that far out of the realm of possibility IMO... I just can't come up w anywhere this could have taken place where it would neither be heard, nor any trace found. Can either of you? ETA It is a shared culpability scenario thus would explain many things, and I'm right there w you re timeline, can quite readily envision this occurring very shortly after leaving bus stop. No problem w that whatsoever, it's what I've in fact long believed. JMO

Does anyone know what kind of gun (if ever stated) MC "found" with Ron giving her directions in the ditch by the Croslin home? And when was it found? Was it Tuesday, Feb. 10? I need to go back and watch the Misty LVA and hypnosis videos again and refresh my memory on what she said.
TIA if anyone knows!

I don't know if the type of gun was mentioned, twall.

I am sure he has more than one. Player, a poster, would know what kind of gun or guns he had at the time, though..IMO>

Anyone have the source for the words of rc being a strict disciplinarian. I recall hearing that at the beginning of the case and thought they came from rc but am not sure.

It always worried me, mainly, because I believe it.

OT:

....We get very bad information about this case. The reporting by local newspapers leaves a lot to be desired. I realize they cannot substantiate anything with LE. There is no AP at all, so they have to wing it and piece together much like us. Problem is they are not drawing the line between what they gleen from sources and what they are told by the players or the family.

For instance, everyone assumes RC was a crane operator;
1. He said he was
2. some say PDM said he was

Just because rc said he was, doesn't mean it is accurate
PDM never said he was. Reporter quoted PDM and how they had let RC go; then reporter added he was a crane operator. PDM NEVER said that, reported said that.

These are some reasons why using the media to plea your case is foolish. IF they do not name a source, you have no idea if it is true. If a source is named it is up to you or somebody to confirm it. That is the only legitimate way to prove anyone's words.
