You know, I've slept a couple of times in the last few months so I may have missed it, but I thought that the AC man was the only person who HAD been cleared by LE.

You know I do wonder how they were able to clear him so quickly, what his alibi was/is? At another home perhaps? I don't believe that he has any involvement and I'm very greatful for his sake that his name has stayed out of the news. But I sure would like to know if he had any pertinent info to give LE. Did he see HaLeigh?

debs mentioned somewhere (on this thread, another thread? idk :innocent that he may not have paid any attenion to anyone in particular if he did see children playing and I hadn't really thought about that until I read her post. Unless 'something' called his attention to HaLeigh or anything unusual that was going on and he is like most people, just going about his job...he probably wouldn't notice which children he saw and be able to identify them, would he?...I have asked myself how much attention I pay to things like that and it really depends on the given day. (but I have an older tired brain :crosseyed: ...Who knows? ..Obviously we don't, lol!...

As far as what Ron thinks or worries about...I think he worries about himself and public perception. He wants everyone to think highly of him....few do.

Me too, however I assume LE could easily verify whether or not he was there and when by confiscating his service records or speaking with his employer.

No, RC doesn't owe the public anything, but if he has the cojones to ask for money so he can keep vigil, then he should learn how to play ball with the public. IMO, asking for monetary handouts without giving anything back takes a lot of nerve.

I totally agree with you. He wants money but he is totally refusing to even speak up for Haleigh. The fact that anyone would :waitasec:contribute to this is confusing to me. It is like "Just keep your mouth shut and hand me the money" kind of attitude.

Nope, she ran to him. Grandma did too.

No RC was not raised by AS he was raised by his mother, unless you consider living with family for about a year so that they could stay in the same school while his mother lived a distance away to work and then travelled home every weekend to be with her kids as not raising them.

How can it be sad that the Ac man is not cleared. At one time LE made a statement clearing him. Then later on, a statement was made by LE saying that no one was cleared. What are sleuths suppose to do in this situation?

Exactly! That's what sends shivers down my spine, it's like it never even occured to anyone to talk to her, comfort her, let HaLeigh know that no one would stop looking for her. WHY?

People do handle things differently to be sure Gotargrat, it just seems that if Ron really believed that HaLeigh is alive and possibly being held, even if one thought there were even the slightest chance of that, why is no one trying to get a message to her? In my minds eye, (while sadly I believe that your 2nd conclusion is true) I can just picture HaLeighbug sitting at some undisclosed location, hearing GGMS on tv and nobody even speaking directly to her. Just strikes me as very odd and terribly sad, but that's jmho..

I recall Ron, in particular, did just that, Pondering. He spoke to the media many, many times (local newspapers, local TV reporters, Nancy Grace shows, attorney videos, etc.) and said specifically TO Haleigh something to the effect of "I love you, baby, and I won't stop looking for you."

It was only after he was constantly and unremittingly criticized for saying this over & over, saying the wrong things, not saying the right things, saying too much, saying too little, his wording, how he dressed, the way he spoke, the way he held his mouth, the way he held his eyes, etc, etc, that he finally just gave up. I think he realized that he would be dammed for everything he did, so he retreated from public view. It was causing all the attention to be on him and so wasn't helping Haleigh.

I recall Crystal saying these same words also, at least once. "I won't stop looking for you."

At first, LE made a statement that the AC man was there around 5 PM. But they did not feel that he was involved. Then later, LE made a statement that no one had been cleared. Could it be that the AC man was definitely there, but not for anything having to do with the AC? Has anyone thought about this? Maybe he was there for another, totally different reason and that is why LE made another statement that no one was cleared. Just saying, something I have been thinking about for a long time now. Why else would he become "uncleared"? Maybe he isn't involved, but LE could not verify that he was there to service the AC. I have asked in the past if it had been verified that other landlord properties in the area been serviced. Have any of you read where this had been confirmed? This has always been an "open" item on my list. Would appreciate any of your thoughts.

Yeah, I think that Ron needs to get his "big boy britches" on and get over himself. He is taking the coward's way out by acting like his feelings are hurt because someone said something about him that he did not like. Plueeeeeeeze. We saw this also when he called LE when Timmy Croslin called him a name. He is acting like a Momma's Boy. It is not about you, Ron. It is about Haleigh, get over yourself and do all for your daughter. Weak, weak, weak.........................

I stopped trying to understand Law Enforcement a long time ago so you got me. I wasn't concerned over the whether the AC Man was cleared or not, I was merely trying to point out the fact that he was there on that day because many were speculating that no-one knows for sure if he was even there.

I don't have a doubt in the world that the Ac man was'nt there. I truly believe that he was. But, since LE has not confirmed that the Landlord sent him there for maintenance and now he is not cleared, then I just keep the check mark absent from his name for being cleared. He might have been there but maybe it wasn't for the reason we were originally given. JMO. It does look like LE would clear SOMEBODY just so we could narrow the list a bit.

Hi kamky, yes I remember that he did many, many months ago...which is why it surprised me even more when all this time has gone by and he didn't say a word. Do we even know if he knows what people are saying and if he does..does he care.? I mean who would really, if their child was missing? If his focus is on what people are saying or thinking re: anything besides where his daughter is that would be very worrisome to me and I guess in fact is extremly disturbing to me as it is. IF what Ron would have us to believe is true, then as I said before HaLeigh could have been 'somewhere' within earshot of a television the other day and would have heard nada. No words of comfort, no we are still looking for you baby..I realize that we ARE all different and we react differently, but there really is no way in he!! that I would retreat anywhere for any reason if my child was missing...as much as I may feel like burying my head and just dying myself I could not do that...NOT if I thought for a minute that my heart was 'out there' somewhere, no way could I be that self absorbed that anyones words could stop me...IF I was innocent..People talk about GGMS too, but she sure doesn't let it hush her up..That's just what I see from my view tho..

What would be really wonderful is if RC and Crystal and no one else sat down in front of media and talked about Haleigh and made a plea for her return - no other questions just the two of them being united. Unfortunately I don't ever see that happening.
