YES! And without her pack of cigarettes (and I say that as a smoker LOL)
I vote she should take her blanket. Wonder if she'd pee on herself??

This should probably be posted on the CS thread but she is contempt of court for not paying child support.

2005-12-05
ACCORDING TO STANDARD VISITATION SCHEDULE, MOTHER TO
2005-12-05
PAY C/S OF $323/MTH TO BEGININING WHEN ORDER SIGNED
2008-06-16
054.DOR INTERCEPT IN THE AMOUNT OF $48.00 ON 06/16/08
2009-02-10
055.MOTION FOR CONTEMPT 03-27-09 AT 08:30

By looking at this it appears that the last time any money has been paid was June 2008 and I am not positive by what intercept of $48.00 means as far as the courts are concerned. CS is the one who has been slinging the mud along with her mother and that has been the case since hours into this. There was a short break, which happens to coincide with her weekend visitation. Now I don't know how things work over custody in Florida but how long would she have to be in arrears before an arrest warrant is issued to go out? A great way to get that all postponed is to have one of your children go missing with the added bonus that now you may be able to get the custody case reopened and get the remaining child and now you don't have to pay any support.
Her arrears would still be owed I would think but if Ron were in jail I don't know it that would be the case.
I am not saying that Crystal did this but it would not be the first time a parent has gone to extremes to get out of paying support. I understand the argument about grabbing the kids and running but I also think that Crystal knows that Ron would come looking for her.
If it was not a complete stranger or a SO that is responsible I'm sorry but the bio-mom is the one who would benefit the most out of this.

since they are renting the mobile home, maybe the owner has final say as to whether LE can keep it corded off as a crime scene.

Probably on Sun March 1, rent will be due and maybe Ron won't be able to pay the rent on it for another month since he hasn't been working. And since it's been said he'll never live there again anyway, the landlord may just take it back. Course their stuff would still be in there...

Hi LA Law, I have a question about the dogs.

They were tracker dogs I assume. The trail of scent they followed was an exceptionally long one IMO. All the way down to the pond, back up and over to make that circle and then back past the trailer area to another roadway. I don't know where on that map they went to the river dock.

Does that mean Haleigh covered that whole track? It is a long ways, and I don't think a little girl could walk that far. Maybe she was carried and her skin cells shed along the way, but still, why would a perp walk her around like that?

I know we don't know the answers, but maybe you have some ideas about it.

I really do not know, scandi. All I know is that it was stated early on that the dogs had gone to the dock first. IIRC, it was maybe 8 blocks or so. I certainly could be wrong, tho, because I did not save the article.

Now IF Haleigh had urinated on herself and had not had another bath since, I think her scent might be stronger. I wish I knew why the roundabout trek was taken. Was it after going to the dock? I was just always under the impression that the dock was the first place the dogs went to from the home.

I really would like more information on the dogs LE used. I read it was the K-9's. Were they tracker dogs, or the same ones used in drug busts? Everything is such a mystery in this case.

Sorry - I have been no help at all in answering your question, scandi!

we need a dog tracking thread.....do we have one?

On this thought, what if the person who took Haliegh, took her down to the docks first, came back up to that outbuilding, commited an act their or took a moment to think there and then walked back down by the dock to a path or something that leads back up to the road. Not sure if even the dogs had a fresh scent or was it a scent from her just out playing in the neighborhood. Not sure, but I try.:o

LOL You did help tho, as I didn't see on the map where the dock was and didn't realize they went there first.

Doesn't it seem strange that if she was at the dock and then taken on that roundabout trek that the dogs made?

This is O/T, sorry about that. Maybe we already have a thread about the dogs. Ta

Yes! We need a dog tracking thread! There is also a poster on another forum here that actually trains the dogs. We could get her input.

As haleigh was afraid of the water, she would not be going to the dock willingly. I just do not know, either, Law_girl41!

I think that Captain just answered the question if Ron was an informant,he just said he would not answer one way or the other.IMO Why would he not say,no he is not.Just saying..They did confirm with JO that he was not a suspect,so why not say that RC was not an informant?

Very strange, scandi, and I have no answers! I do hope we can get that thread about the dogs.

Would an informant also be a drug user as his x wife suggests?
And, has anyone learned anything about why Child Services has a file on Ron and his kids?

Because he would put him and his family in harms way! LE will never let that information out, ever.

I would also like to add,and it's speculation, that this is the reason LE is so tight lipped. And also why RC is angry w/LE,he was helping them and his daughter got taken. This probably stemmed from his charges years ago,to get off of them as he did,he said he would help them. They do not like to let go of informants. He had serious drugs and that would mean it's not a petty drug dealer and they are bad enough they would take a child. The good part of this is she could be held somewhere,it's a matter of finding where and how to get her.

Oh, FGS! If not, why not just say he was not an informant???? Now, his answer would fit if Ronald was an informant. Just adding more mystery with that comment.

I actually never thought Ronald was an informant, but that he maybe had given up his supplier.

I think what the biomom is going by is past history with him, they only see each other to pick up the kids and drop them off.She said she's never been to the house, trailer. She needs to be quiet before she gets that child in a worse postion.I think this is why LE quickly threatened GR to leave,he did enough damage.

Undercover LE will do drugs w/the dealers,if they don't,they would be suspected. He might just be smoking pot with them, you know, not hardcore.Just enough to not look like he's an informant. He could have been between a rock and a hard place.I think Crystal has really screwed up this weekend. Then again this could be what I thought about before,he turned someone in before, they'll wait a long time before they do something, but why take her?Was it someone totally stupid and just did it without thinking? When I heard dressed in black,I thought it was a planned taking of her, someone younger possibly, not an older RSO as Timothy.
