Perhaps, the reason he didn't call 911 is that he and Misty were fighting to some extent, afterall, didn't Misty's brother say she called and wanted to get away from Ron? Then, she told the police that she told them not to come over? No matter which happened, the point here is to take note of Ron's standard of living. Temper, fighting, threats, guns. I'm surprised he wasn't at work so he could provide for his bride and child.

You know I wonder if both versions of the calls are true. The brother new there was drama and had been calling and calling. Misty calls and says I am out of here come get me, has a change of heart calls and says don't come, but they are already on their way/went anyway (I would have).

LOL I just don't wanna see you here at 3 am with toothpicks holding your eyelids open and your finger taped to the refresh button lol.
I really don't know how fast they act, Busy. Are you telling me to lay off the booking log?

With the injuries and Ron's refusal to speak to the officers they had no choice but to arrest him. They can't really conclude that it was a misunderstanding or that Ron had just cause when the only statements they have are from the Croslin's with physical evidence that an assault occured.

Really???

Hmmm . . .

Come on people! We've all seen this scenario played out 100 times by teens. Misty and Ron probably got into a fight (argument), Misty was angry and/or scared enough during said fight to call her family for help.

She may have had a change of heart after the fact and regretted the call, but I would stake my life on it, that she made the initial call with all alarm bells going off.

If that were MY family (and I was a teenager calling for help), they would be over to "rescue" me after a phone call like that, whether I wanted them to or not.

Please, try and take out all the emotion and "sides" right now, and look at things objectively.

I apologize if you took offense, I should of been specific at who that comment was directed to. I try and filter myself and not let those things thru but sometimes it builds and it just slips after seeing post with name calling of anyone who supports RC in any way shape or form, and the continued list of the excuse tally that gets posted over and over. I do apologize and I have taken steps to avoid seeing those particular type post so it does not build back up and the snark comes out.

Busy, Let me make something clear, I don't have a shred of hatred toward any of these people BUT I do believe that RC & Misty are lying - my belief is based upon an overall assessment of their statements, conduct, records, reputation . . . it doesn't come from a place of hatred (or an agenda) and I am sick and tired of being accused of hating simply because I happen to think that RC & Misty are lying . . .

Unless we know this as fact, it's best to use "IMO".

What is the alternative?
They have a victim that needs medical.
They have multiple witnesses saying Ron hit him, including Ron's wife and GM.
I would assume Ron has marks on his hands from the assault.

The victim says he only defended himself.
And Ron says nothing.
He says I want an attorney.

Reverse this situation and make the victim female, calling from a parking lot to get the police and then go to the hospital. Multiple witnesses say that is the guy who hit her. That guy says I ain't talking to you. You would be fine with them not arresting him? Really?

Has Ron spoken yet? Guess I missed that.

"In Ronald's statement he stated that three people Hank Croslin Jr, Sr and Lisa Croslin showed up at his grandma's house after they were told not to come there by his wife Misty Cummings. He said that Hank Jr and Sr got out of the van and approached in an "aggressive" manner. He said that he asked Hank Jr to get out of his face and he then came closer. He thought he was going to hit him so he pushed him out of the way. He said that Hank Jr then hit him after Ronald pushed him and the physical altercation began. He said that Hank Sr then entered the fight and held him while Hank Jr hit him. Ronald completed a sworn written statement in reference to the incident and also signed charging affidavits against Hank Croslin Jr and Sr for battery."

Where is the mention of protecting Misty? I consider his sworn written statement qualifies as him having "spoken".

Since RC did not talk to LE, you can bet he is going to get even and blame everyone but himself. He knew if he spoke to LE they would write it down and he would be involved. This way, he knew going to jail was the better option. He knew he could wiggle out of the whole thing, with some luck. He doesn't have "I was at work" going but he has "I didn't start it, it was self-defense".

He is one very clever cat and know his way around the system. He also has the same three females around to defend him.

wonder if it is standard procedure to do drug testing when one is arrested in Putnam County? Anyone from there know??

I am not making it up about the report that Misty was crying and yelling for her family to come and get her. Just stating an opinion on the article.

http://www.jacksonville.com/news/me...ted_for_burglary_battery_involving_brother_in

“Following is the report by Deputy Nicole Quintiere:
On August 5th, 2009 I was dispatched to the parking lot of the Welaka Kangaroo in reference to the report of a battery. When I arrived on scene, I met with Hank Croslin Jr and Hank Croslin Sr and also Lisa Croslin. Upon initial assessment of the situation I gathered that Hank Croslin Jr had been battered by Ronald Cummings.
Upon further investigation into the incident, I spoke with Hank Croslin Jr on his own. Hank stated that he, Lisa and Hank Sr had gotten a phone call from Misty who was crying and yelling. He said that Misty asked for them to come to her residence and pick her up because she no longer wanted to be at the residence with Ronald. In an attempt to obtain his sister, he, Lisa and Hank Sr drove to her residence on 4th Avenue. He stated that when he arrived at the residence on 4th Avenue Ronald came out and was acting crazy. He said that Ronald came out and began "swinging on him". He said that he was hit in the head and neck several times. He said that after they got in their physical altercation, he entered his vehicle in an attempt to drive away and Ronald entered the vehicle on the passenger side and began striking him again. He said that at that time, he drove away and went to the Kangaroo in Welaka to call 911. Hank Jr completed a written statement in reference to the incident. He also signed a charging affidavit against Ronald Cummings for Burglary with Battery. Hank Jr was transported to Putnam Community Medical Center complaining of injury to his neck and head.”

Hi Cam!

Anyone stop and think that when trouble occurs Misty is always around.

I really don't think that is standard procedure unless it's a drug or DUI related charge. It's not actually against the law to have drugs in your "system".

Guns? I didn't see where he threaten anybody with a gun last night, is there a new police report out?

So far, with the facts presented, looks like Misty called for help and then backed out when they arrived. Question is who is she going to back...it is decision time and the truth needs to be told. Now is the time for her to speak up and stop being the helpless victim.

Haleigh needs this group to tell the truth because this is the group that has the information on what happened to Haleigh.
