Rosie will not return to "The View"

I think your post was nicely put, in my opinion. Not intimidating, threatening, or dis-honorable.

However, I think's it's full of Oscar Meyer Bologna. :croc: Bush has made mistakes, but he's not to blame for the detriment of an entire Nation or country. We'll save this conversation for the political forum, which I'm going to visit probably tomorrow to offer up my un-wanted opinion on the new up to date runner for President. Whew, thank you God, I was getting discouraged, no one running did I want to vote for so far, til shhhhhhhhhh today!

Fair enough, Kool. I don't know why Rosie O'Donnell threads are allowed here. As far as I'm concerned, all the attacks on her are essentially political.

Kool? Do you really believe that giving birth is the most valuable thing a woman can do?

This could get deepers. I thought about your post before replying and thought at first, no that's not what I'm saying. More like one of the most honorable, un-appreciated things a woman can and does do.

Then I asked myself, what is more important than being entrusted with a tiny little soul to love, nurture and raise to carry on heritage and name given to us by God the Father himself. He hand picks every egg that is fertilized.

Surely running a business, building a home, being a friend, mother, sister, employee, wife all these things are important, but your relationship with the Lord (salvation), and bringing life into this world, what can even be compared to it? A building? A Checking Account? A job? An award? What? what will last longer, hold it's own and have the opportunity to bring hope and a journey into the unknown? I say nothing compares to the gift of life.

LMAO. Yeah, it takes so much intelligence and "brass" to bring a child into the world. Only a handful of geniuses seem to have accomplished that.

I don't think anyone here called her stupid, just that she's not possibly the Einstein you seem to think she is.

Are you male or female?

Yeah, now why don't all you socialist-like, humanistic, peave-lovin' anti-Bush heathens just shut yer mouths an' be patriotic fer once. Don't think, just cheer!

Well, color me gob-smacked! Our stereotype is that all Canadians are meek and polite. At least that's what the ones who move here tell us.

Welcome to WS, CS!

Are you male or female?

I'm female and a brand new mother for that matter. I'm very proud of my son and wouldn't take anything for him but I don't think it took a lot of intelligence on my part to have him.

I'd ask which has done a more valuable thing- A crack 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 that gave birth, or the woman who took that child and raised it?

I'd say that women can and do many important and valuable things. And that a woman who is unable to give birth is no less important than one who can.

Well. it does seem this thread could even be in the political forum. I don't like the personal attacks on Rosie, I feel sad for her. It's just not right. Even though she has dished out the same, I still don't believe in reacting with the same type of hate.

I want Rosie to be healed. Somethings wrong with her, and I'm afraid I know what it is. She looked worn and stunned on the footage the last two days with the friend at the computer. Wasn't much of a friend though, no let me take that back. I don't know that for sure. She just didn't guide her like I would have.

Elisabeth and Rosie, make up and forgive.

I have no doubt your considerable intelligence will go far in raising him.

Lucky him and congrats to you!

The test will be in the fruit; years down the road, Darling Mom. Congratulations Mom and may the Lord Bless you and Son with a united love un-imaginable.

You have done a very very smart thing by bringing your son into this world, he may be the peacemake this world needs for all we know.

Take care and pat yourself on the back. You are Woe-man, and you are very pleasing unto the sight of the Lord.

Especially since you had a son. A daughter? Eh, not so much.

Hold on. Hold on. Now that's not what I said Irish. Actually, I never used the word valuable, nor did I ever put a worth on woman concerning woman, I believe your discussion is leading towards that, not mine.

I agree with you, women do very very valuable things for sure. A woman that isn't able to give birth doesn't make her less valuable in my sight at all. She may or may not be able to help that, it would depend on the circumstances surrounding her. I certainly knows she's here with purpose.

Well she sure is smart enough to get her brass on two different shows, (survivor and the view), make a brass load of money doing it. Marry a handsome man, become impregnated (bringing life into this world, which is the most precious thing a woman can do), and happens to be an attractive young thang to boot. So she has enough smarts to look beautiful.

Now whoever doesn't notice her accomplishments, especially the checking account, may not be sooooooo brightttt. I wish I was as stupid as Elisabeth, oh, geez, lest I'm smart enough to know her name.

I was responding to the line I put in bold.

I was going by the definition of precious. I could be wrong.

Ok. From the American Heritage Dictionary:

  1. Of high cost or worth; valuable.
  2. Highly esteemed; cherished.
  3. Dear; beloved.
A couple of others, but they don't pertain, IMO.

I still don't think that giving birth is the most precious, (by any of these definitions) thing a woman can do.

I'm all ears, what do you think it is then? Since you seem to be especially interested in discussing this particular thing?

What would you rate to be precious or valuable?

It depends on the woman. What is a valuable accomplishment to one, may not be to another.

It depends on what path a woman is walking, and what lessons she has to learn.

In other words, I don't think there's an arbitrary threshold.

I wish I could say I understand your post, but not all of it. It's just too vague for me, I still have my opinion I wrote about, and you have yours, rightfully so.

The crackwhore, (I don't like the word at all), what I see is just how destructive and deceptive drugs can be. I see all the misery and heartache that leads to this drug use and the stigma placed on the mother and child.

What I see is a very weak, sick woman who had things happen in her life that led to this type of behavior, to not even value herself or the babe enough to care correctly for their health. She has been devalued in her lifetime, so she's only acting out what she's known or seen, perhaps.

It also shows me just how deceived mankind can get. How we destroy our own selves. She's a glimpse in the mirror reflecting our dark side of mankind, which is in such need of healing.

What I was trying to say is that what is the most valuable thing a woman can do depends on the woman.

For the crack 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 we are discussing. For her, getting off crack may be more valuable than giving birth.

The woman that took that child, and did the nitty-gritty part; the raising of that child, IMO, that's more valuable than giving birth.

And that what is a valuable accomplishment for one woman isn't necessarily a valuable accomplishment for the next.

I walk around every day. It is not a valuable accomplishment for me.

Our niece with cerebral palsy was bound and determined to walk down the aisle when her sister got married. She worked hard to do it, and she did. She will never give birth, but I'd say that was a valuable accomplishment for her.

That's what I was trying to say.

Thank you for the kind words. He's such a precious gift and I hope to do right by him and thank God everyday for him.

But back to Rosie, I've learned a lot from her.
