Rosie will not return to "The View"

Yes indeed...the agree to disagree is important. That's what makes our country great! You can't start blacklisting people with a different opionion and unfortunately in Hollywood and the entertainment community, those to the Right are very unpopular and probably even lose work because of it.

Liberals have a right to their "views" but they always seem so emotional and what bugs me most of all...INTOLERANT. They seem to be tolerant of everything else, even the wearing of burkas in our own country and women not having to remove them for a driver's license picture ( if you're American you have to remove even a stupid baseball cap for your DMV photo).

Where have you been? I'm not saying liberals can't be intolerant, but it isn't liberal intolerance that has plagued this country for the past 7 years.

Nova, Nova, Nova. Any intolerance is unforgiveable, but its been around as long as I have (probably longer). It was there before W. got there.:croc:

Right on, jeana. I don't like it from any side of the street but I admit, it bugs me even more when it comes from those who lecture everyone else to be more "tolerant" or claim they stand for "tolerance" as a group somehow.

For me, the View hasn't been good since Meredith left.

Eve

I know what she said. I heard her. And what you've said is only YOUR interpretation. The meaning could be taken more than one way.

Why should Elisabeth (or you) need to explain Rosie's words? Let her speak for herself and quit calling Elisabeth a coward for not defending her. She's a loud mouth bully and I say GOOD RIDDANCE.
She wasn't asking Lizzie to explain her words; she was asking EH to answer Rosie's question as to whether Lizzie believed what the pundits were saying about her. Lizzie refused to answer and tried to say Rosie was asking a rhetorical question. Lizzie is so stupid she doesn't even know what rhetorical means.

I think Rosie has become a very bitter and angry woman. I bet she would be a barrell of fun to live with. I used to find her to be very funny. If I were to analyze it I would say that Rosie masks her inner pain and struggles with sarcasim and jokes. As far as her relationship with Elizabeth I think Rosie resents her because she is everything that Rosie is not- cute, attractive and feminine. I know it sounds shallow but I believe it.
It sounds very shallow! Just like EH....

Although I don't agree with everything Rosie says, I do admire her willingness to simply say what she thinks. That takes guts. She doesn't go with the flow. I also admire Elizabeth for saying what she thinks. Two opinionated ladies with two opposing viewpoints...duh...that's why they call it the VIEW.

I'll miss Rosie. She infused LIFE into that show, whether or not you agreed with everything she says or thinks. She's REAL and real in a world all too injected with people who are willing to go with the flow than say what they really think just so they'll fit in and feel accepted.

I'll miss her; I hear tell she's had plenty of offers, but hasn't made up her mind as to whether or not she'll do any more TV.

NO thanks! I can't stand Joan Rivers, but I would rather see her than KLG.

OMG..Your website is ADORABLE.
I just had to tell you that :)

Ok, bad owner...off topic..back to topic...

I wish both Rosie and EH would not TALK over each other. I can never figure out who is saying what about whom.

I think Rosie will have her own talk show. She is a strong enough personality to handle it. It will be very different than her past solo talk show where she was "Queen of Nice."

Lizzie refused to answer and tried to say Rosie was asking a rhetorical question.

Bull crap. Rosie insisted the question be answered with a yes or no. She acted like a lawyer cross examining a hostile witness. Anyone who talks that way doesn't deserve an answer! :furious:

Lizzie is so stupid she doesn't even know what rhetorical means.
I think you meant to say Rosie is so stupid. :p

Kids, mom is home for a while. Play nicely. :blowkiss:

I don't believe anyone said the current president invented intolerance. But he and his minions have elevated it to an art form. Even conservatives are now admitting that this administration has enforced theological correctness in every area of federal influence to an unprecedented degree, with disastrous effects on science, health, education, the environment and the law.

To pretend otherwise out of some sense of fairness, to claim "everybody does it," requires sticking one's head in the sand.

Jeana, I know you feel some degree of decorum should attach to the office of President. But when that office is abused so badly, thinking people have so say so.

And while Faux News may continue to beat the partisan drum and sing about the supposedly intolerant Left, in fact the Left has so little power these days that intolerance from that quarter is hardly worth mentioning.

...Rosie insisted the question be answered with a yes or no....

N, I usually defend Ms. O'Donell here, but I must say I hate that tactic, that insistence that a question be answered yes or no. Very few questions can be.

I agree. It was very controlling and manipulative tactic to choose to use within a discussion format...

You and I have lots of differences of opinion but you're a very respectful debater and the type of person who makes me willing to listen to your views. :blowkiss:

Uh oh. That'll get you in trouble for sure! :blowkiss:

Rosie will not be returning to the view! MSNBC just reported on TV. When I see a link I'll post it.

Good, Good Riddence.

She wanted someone to stick up for her after she put her own foot in her mouth.

I said exactly what I meant. Please don't try to do a Lizzie and manipulate my answers.
