4 does found on the bank of Izhora River, or at the bottom of the Izhora, including that of a child, possibly her parents, and an unrelated man killed in April of 2008 by a media-dubbed "Izhora Maniac"
ICRF/SKP Chairman Alexander Bastrykin has personally taken control of the criminal case regarding of the jane doe aged 7-10.
Investigators initally believed that the remains belonged to a 6 year old Pavel Kostyunin, who went missing from St. Petersburg in 2011, but has since been ruled out due to DNA testing proving that the decedent was female, and was related to a man, and a woman who were found murdered on the banks of the river in August 2008.
Authorities also believe that the deaths of the 3 are related to the death of another man killed in April of 2008.
