Per his wife's social media post in the OPs post, his boat is a silver and blue Bass Tracker. That model is not a large boat being just under 17'. At most, it would have a 50 HP motor.

Speaking from owning a Bass Tracker in the 1980s, it's big enough for 2 adults to comfortably fish. Maximum capacity is 3 people with a combined weight of 555 pounds.

A little more info from the article linked by the OP.

Eagle Mountain Lake and the location of the marina.

Amy said her husband's phone last pinged at Augie's Sunset Café and Marina — a location she said Ruben had never mentioned before. She drove to the marina, where someone had found his phone on the dock.
Later that afternoon, law enforcement with the Tarrant Regional Water District — now leading the investigation — located his gray and blue fishing boat on the opposite side of the lake. It was floating between two docks, undamaged and unanchored.

Augie's does have a boat ramp so, the assumption is he put his boat in there since they have a ramp.

More good info. Now, I'm thinking he put the boat in at Twin Points Park and then went to the dock at Augie's for some reason. From this article.

Ruben Fausone was seen on surveillance video entering Twin Points Park with his boat and trailer about 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, according to the release. His cell phone last pinged near Augie’s Sunset Cafe and Marina, and witnesses reported seeing him around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday near the Augie’s dock.

There is a boat ramp and Twin Points Park.

The original article in this thread stated the boat was found at the other end of the lake from Augie's but, I don't think that's the case. The park and Augie's are very close to each other.

So, where were the vehicle and trailer? Still in the parking lot at the park? On the boat ramp? I ask because he could have had a mishap trying to put the boat on the trailer by himself.

ETA - Maybe he parked in the trailer parking at the park before taking the boat out. When he came back, he intended to dock the boat, back the trailer down the ramp and return to pull the boat over to the trailer. The fact that it was floating between two docks makes me think something (slip/fall, medical emergency, etc) could have happened as he was trying to tie off on the dock.

Unfortunately the court records in CO don't list a DOB, just a age at time of arrest, and no booking photo so can't be certain this is the missing man but based on the info in red, I believe it should be considered looking into further. My concern isn't the criminal charges or the FTA IF this is him, but rather the history of DUI.

Found information for a Ruben James Fausone, 5 foot 10, same age as missing man.
Two fugitive from justice warrants 2019 (at age 35) and domestic violence charges.

Failure to appear 2006. https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/4757914/united-states-v-fausone/

2022 DUI with 3 prior offences. Fremont County Sheriff’s Department: Man arrested for stalking and menacing (note the article title about stalking relates to another arrest for someone else in the same article, not RF.)

Listed in the El Paso County (TX) Community Corrections Board - Mandatory review for a Ruben Fausone as an "Offender" in 2022.

"White pages" listing shows him as having a residence in Colorado as well as Azle Texas (on Eagle Lake Drive).

The failure to appear/fugitive in 2006 looks like Damage to Government Property that carried a $150 fine and 15 hours community service, so looks pretty minor. Quite possibly a ticket. Could have been a National Park or something.
federal record
The failure to appear/fugitive was dismissed when he appeared for court and his case was disposed.

The domestic dispute in Colorado was in 2019. No indication if any charges were filed.

El Paso County Criminal Case Record Search doesn't display any cases under his name and the case # noted on the document posted doesn't bring up any records.

Thank you! The damage to government property must have been very minor, if it's more than $1000 under the USC they can get up to 10 years jail time. Here is link to the El Paso Community Corrections Board. I'm guessing the case no. there, the "CCD" number, which neither you or I could find any record for, is something internal to the board.
