The goal is to end the war with Ukraine's sovereignty intact and security to ward off future attacks by Russia. Why is this so difficult for some to understand?
maybe some people don't care if bullies win...as long as it isn't against them.
Most people in democratic nations care about what happens to innocent people. Most democratic people care about humanity. '
And when someone says the victim should give up so that the bully can win, then I have to question their motives.

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed> ... if Russia just stepped back from their invasion, then no Russian people would be killed. It's an easy solution. No one would be killing Russian people if they stopped their invasion.

And no one would be killing Ukrainians either. Magic!

It's simple, really. Yet the US admin <modsnip> don't propose this obvious solution.

And as long as it’s a bully they think can do no wrong “because God has a purpose for him.”

Click bait headlines from a Ukranian news source.

The reality is that -

The official said the United States wasn’t invited because European nations want to demonstrate that they can take responsibility for a large part of the post-ceasefire security framework for Ukraine.

The U.S. has made it clear that we're not putting boots on the ground.

from ABC News link in posted article, above.

Not finding the link to the ABC article. Could you provide it please. Thanks !!

At least one person has been killed and three injured in a "massive" overnight drone attack on Moscow and the capital region, local officials say.
Regional Governor Andrei Vorobyev says the casualties were in the towns of Vidnoye and Domodedovo, just outside the capital. Seven apartments in a residential building were damaged

This war is changing daily, but Ukraini will never give up. I know talking to family and friends no one really wants President Zelenskyy to sign anything with the USA there's no benefit to Ukraini just empty promises and nothing to stop Putin we can't trust them st all. As a Canadian also we know you can't trust trump. The EU UK Aussies and Canada and Britain have stepped up. From us Ukrainians that aren't in Ukraini we see the help and compassion from other nations supporting us now.Ukrainians have a little more hope thanks to them. Every obstacle trump has thrown at Ukraini the allys have stepped up to help fix it. We are forever grateful thank you.Jmvho

US not invited to Nato Summit on 11th March to discuss Ukraine

"The US will not be represented at a summit of military officials in Paris on March 11, where discussions will focus on the creation of international security forces for Ukraine. They were not invited, according to the Associated Press."

This summit is only for the coalition of the willing. Australia is sending our military rep to Paris because of that.

The US is not part of the coalition of the willing.

" Australia's Foreign Minister Penny Wong says Australia "won't be intimidated" by Russian warnings about the prospect of joining a peacekeeping force in Ukraine.

Senator Wong said Australia had "a proud tradition of supporting peace through 80 years of contributions to international peacekeeping missions"

"Our message to Russia is: end your illegal invasion of Ukraine. We won't be intimidated from working towards a just peace for the people of Ukraine." "

Trump envoy Witkoff plans Moscow visit this week to meet Putin

Witkoff, who is officially Trump's Middle East envoy, has played a growing role in efforts to bring about an end to the three-year-old Ukraine war.

Witkoff met Putin in Moscow last month and brought back American schoolteacher Marc Fogel, who had been sentenced to 14 years in a Russian prison after being detained for holding medically prescribed marijuana.

  • Summary
  • At least 91 drones downed around Moscow
  • One killed, at least three injured
  • Flights suspended at Moscow's airports
  • Biggest Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow
  • At least 337 drones downed over Russia

I just want to highlight this ^^^ post. Ukraine drones hitting Moscow. About 840km (525 miles) away from the front lines.

Penetrating right into Russia. Getting quite close to the Kremlin.

imo

Ukraine targeted Moscow early on Tuesday in what authorities said was its largest ever drone attack on the Russian capital, killing at least one person, sparking fires and forcing the suspension of flights and train travel.

Russia’s aviation watchdog said flights were suspended at all four of Moscow’s airports.

Vorobyov said at least seven apartments were damaged and residents forced to evacuate from a multi-storey building in the Ramenskoye district about 50km (31 miles) south-east of the Kremlin.

Hope Elon can get to the bottom of it and find out the actual source of the terrorist attack on X.
Gotta be the Russians...or Tesla employees.

For all we know it could have been a 15-year old kid who did it because he could. Hackers aren't about to reveal their real IP address.

Musk is saying...get ready for it...it's IP addresses in Ukraine that did it, the "terrorist" attack on X. Still trying to figure out how that qualifies as a "terrorist" attack. Could be true. If so I say...do it again! If it's Russia doing it and making it look like it's Ukraine I say...do it again!! Either way maybe it will distract Musk enough that he'll leave the VA, FAA, CDC and Medicare alone for a hot minute.

I was just on President Zelensyy’s website and ran across photos from an awards ceremony for artists that he and his wife attended. As I scrolled through them, looking at photos of the audience and artists, I slowed down and focused on the faces of these brave, but ordinary people. Every day they face unknown dangers. I was very moved and my heart went out to them. These aren’t just Ukrainians as a group. They are individual people, just like us, living through an unimaginable time. I hope you all will take a moment to look at their faces and think about them as real people.

But it is easy for hackers to spoof an IP address. That is why they usually can't catch hackers. If true (what Musk 'says' about the IP addresses) there is no way that Musk doesn't know about spoofing and hackers routinely using spoofing. Even I know about that, and I don't own X (or hack).

But I do agree, X being hacked is the least of anyone's problems at the moment. It is not a bank or insurance company or anything that is actually important.

imo

IP spoofing, or IP address spoofing, refers to the creation of Internet Protocol (IP) packets with a false source IP address to impersonate another computer system. IP spoofing allows cybercriminals to carry out malicious actions, often without detection.
