There were dead and wounded. No one stopped anything, it was just a "light version" (of the war).
We've been through this before. An agreement with the Russians is not worth the paper it is written on.

Yes indeed.
I think Trump is going to have a rude awakening. He’s going to see that a wink and a wave and a grin from him is not going to make Putin realize he’s been a bad boy.
What is needed now, IMO, is for Trump to turn the tough guy act around on Putin, not Zelenskyy, open his eyes to who Putin really is, and throw the menacing act against Russia, not Ukraine.

I'm genuinely becoming ever more convinced that Trump doesn't actually know what's going on around him. His behavior at that comical Musk/Tesla infomercial was clear evidence of that.......it's all computer!
I think he's ill and needs removing before he does any more damage and costs any more lives in this war and continues to trash the rep and economy of the USA any further, imo.

This is just my opinion, but there is an argument that the war would end sooner, without a ceasefire. And it sounds like neither side wants a ceasefire, for the same reason. MOO It might not end with peace for Ukraine, or it might. If Ukraine can regroup after their major setback in Kurtst region caused by the pause in intelligence and aid. Although personally I don't think that was a good idea - trying to take some Russian territory as a bargaining point. MOO
But a neutral "peace" isn't possible IMO because Russia has an objective it doesn't want to give up. And Russia probably knows Ukraine would never accept their terms. JMO

The first thing I look for in the news when I wake up is whether Trump has died. It sounds awful, I know. I’m not wishing him dead. But he looks terrible.
Unfortunately, his successor would be Vance, who is in the debt of the tech bros, especially Peter Thiel who financed his campaign for Senate and encouraged Trump to pick him as VP. These guys from Silicon Valley have some very strange ideas that some feel they are hoping to put into effect here. The Network State is one of their biggest ideas, which means democracy is destroyed. Rather dystopian, but they’re serious. And to stay on topic, none of this bodes well for Ukraine.
