You know, Patsy supposedly didn't read the whole entire note, before calling 911, but she knew AND MORE IMPORTANTLY REMEMBERED the initials S.B.T.C. Why is that? The interviewer was truly amazed that by Patsy own admittance, she was "NUT'S " and "HYSTERICAL".....running around and screaming, but yet...she calmed down enough to call 911...and was able to tell them her address...and NOT ONLY her address, but she also remembered the initials S.B.T.C. Now, I don't know about you, but, if my child was supposedly kidnapped....and I had to call 911...it would be very hard for me to remember my own name, and address....but, to remember those exact initials...in the exact order that they were written on the ransom note??? I would have been saying..."Q. R. S. T....no, no wait thats not right....T.C. B. Y.....no, no wait...thats not right....C.B.T.S. NOOOO...hold on, let me get the note and make sure of the intitials because I am so upset right now, I can't remember them. I just scanned over the note anyway." But Patsy, no...she recites them right off the bat...and gets the order and letters right!!!! HMMMM...could that be, because she wrote the note...AND she was used to those intitials....Saved By The Cross...and THAT made it easy for her to remember them?? Yeah, by george...I THINK thats it.

And the interviewer couldn't believe that Patsy...as hyterical and as NUTS as she was...could make that 911 call and remember her address. She just spouted it off...no hesitation...and then, for her to remember SBTC...those specific initials, in that specific order? Yeah, I smell something rotten...as my dad used to say.

Yeah...I agree. She knew it WASN'T a ransom note, so she couldn't bring herself to say the word ransom. Kidnapper's don't write ransom notes, demanding money...if the person that they kidnapped is already dead...and left inside of their own house. She realized how ridiculous it sounded. PLUS...at this point, she supposedly hadn't read the whole thing. Remember in her interview....all that she saw was We have your daughter....Victory, SBTC...because she just "scanned" it. I think that was John's idea for her to say that, because it would mean that she wouldn't be questioned about it...and potentially slip up. So, at the point of the 911 call....she "supposedly" didn't know that there was a ransom....just a kidnapping. So, yeah...that was a major slip up when she said..."there's a ran..." (Because she "hadn't read" that part, yet). John probably said...."Patsy, just tell them that you found a note....don't use the word ransom, because they might question you about it later...its best to make it look like you just read a few words. You would ALSO think that instead of saying "we are not speaking to you"....John would have said..."Burke...we didn't find anything...your sister has been kidnapped!!! Did you see or hear anything...ANYTHING at all??? DeeDee, I agree. I can't think of any reason anyone would use that caret to frame PR; however, I also can't think of any real reason why a trained journalist would use an inverted caret to add the word "not" when she would be much more familiar with the correct proofreading symbol.

I do tend to think PR wrote the RN. But why the 'wrong' caret, then?

I don't think of it in terms of her using a "wrong" caret. I am picturing her writing the note in a panic with all of the tremendous stress and adrenaline and all that happens to someone physically when they are in a situation like this. I just think she was writing the note after already starting a practice note and she just wanted to get it DONE. As she made those few errors she fixed it the easiest way possible so as not to have to start another note. I don't think the inverted caret is an inverted caret at all but rather just a way of squeezing in the part of the word she meant to add. Just try to picture the state of mind of the PR at that moment. Whether the death of her daughter was accidental due to some rage attack or deliberate to silence her scream- it was NOT premeditated IMO and PR, whether responsible for the killing or not, was terrified.

I have also heard the enhanced tape....but, I can't remember where. Maybe I heard it on Geraldo, too. But, yeah...I never could figure out why some people said that it didn't exist. They tried to just sweep it under the rug...why is that? Where is that caret inserted? I remember seeing it somewhere, but..when I went back to acandyrose's site, and looked at the ransom note again, I couldn't find it. What page was it on?? And between what words??

he was a Deacon in Atlanta,yet when asked to quote a bible verse,he couldn't do it.
so maybe being seen in church 'doing good' was just a business move and nothing more?
I don't really see how both of them can publicly betray JB like that,and still think they're going to be forgiven,what by private prayer or what.I just don't think God goes along with lies,esp when you throw in the fact they tried to frame innocent ppl...no way.Just no way.I think they were/are dreaming.

Growing up and going to church in the south, I hate to say it....but, alot (not all) of churches there, are nothing more than social clubs, anyway. You show up once a week, with your new dress on...and your fake acrylic fingernails....and your children have their new suits and dresses on, little girls with their hair curled...with frilly dresses, like they are going to a beauty pageant. That sums up one of the churches that we used to attend in SC. Needless to say, we didn't go there for long....the people there were so fake. So, John being seen in church, in Atlanta, and going as a business move, isn't so far fetched. I have seen it many, MANY times before.

Ramsey 911 call tape shows contradictions

An audio-enhanced 911 tape reveals that JonBen&#233;t Ramsey's brother, Burke, was awake when his mother called police to report the little girl's kidnapping at 5:51 a.m.
That conflicts with the girl's parents' consistent statements to investigators that the boy was asleep until 7 a.m. &#8212; after police arrived at their home &#8212; sources close to the investigation said Thursday.
Those sources say enhancement of the tape reveals Burke's voice in the background, asking his parents "What did you find?" John Ramsey allegedly can be heard shouting to Burke, "We are not talking to you," and Patsy shouts "Oh my Jesus, oh my Jesus." The statements were recorded after Patsy Ramsey mistakenly thought she had hung up the telephone after making the 911 call.
