This comment has me wondering if Samantha, and/or other family members have been threatened,

The most logical explanation is that she assumed her mother was injured or trapped somewhere and fighting to stay alive. If anyone had been threatened, it would be highly unusual for any family member to allude to that in a press conference, let alone a child. It's also highly unlikely that if Samantha had been threatened she'd share that with her daughter.

'It's just like she's gone off the face of the Earth. There's nothing,' Mrs Robson said.

Mr Robson said he asked his brother - Ms Murphy's father John Robson - if he knew of any reason why his daughter may have vanished, but he had no answers.

Mr Robson said his niece was financially secure and pondered whether someone may have hurt her in a robbery gone wrong.

'Mick had so many cars he couldn't fit them in his garage,' he said.

'I don't think it's an opportunist,' Mrs Robson said.

'I think it's been someone who has been stalking her. Someone who she didn't even know was stalking her.'

Mrs Robson suggested anyone who knew her niece knew she was a creature of habit when it came to exercise.

'She would routinely go for a run in the morning,' she said.

That's what I thought too, immediately. There's a type of offender that matches. That's the unnerving circumstances from the retired detective Bezzina, that there's nothing. I think if you're from around here you don't see anything suss in the husband's speech or mannerisms, he's a bloke, that's what they're like. And there's nothing curious at all about how the daughter spoke of her strength. Or in having kids again late. Sometimes you get a sense that something's gone on personally, but it's just not like that. He's been watching her and he's got a relatively organised mind for a seriously dangerous offender. Planned, quick, and gone. Do police even have to warn us when it's so baffling, we are of course spooked, are they even allowed to warn women anymore now that it's called victim blaming. I think jogging sets off some psychopathic throw back to evolution "instinct" in their brain.

There’s a pretty big age difference between her kids.. 2nd or 3rd marriage possibly? Is the previous husband involved? Has she gone back to him?

I think the photo of SM with her younger children is old. Possibly a reasonable gap between each child but not unheard of

My son runs on trails in the woods. When he sleeps, his heart rate can be in the 40s, which is considered healthy. OTOH, a person who has hypothyroidism can also have a low heart rate, which has nothing to do with their cardiovascular health. water is for hot weather exercising to prevent overheating. Also, it can be very helpful to have water if something happens. An average person can only go one week without water.

That could have happened without any pre-planning by SM. Someone she knew may have been sitting in a car nearby, or pulled up alongside her. And said something or other to convince her to get in the car. Maybe said a mutual friend was in trouble, or in hospital, whatever.

Wouldn't her phone show her location of traveling in a car?

Not necessarily done any homework. Anthony Parsons was a cyclist in Scotland who was hit by a drunk driver. The driver then removed the body and bicycle and the police never found any evidence of the crime on the road despite a comparatively small search area (confined to about 7 miles of road). On the CCTV topic, while the Police don’t know which way SM turned, I suspect they are confident which way SM did NOT turn, due to the other (proven to be not SM) footage around 7.15am also on SM’s street from a neighbours CCTV just down the road. While that person captured turned out not to be SM, if SM had gone in that particular direction then surely that same neighbours CCTV camera would have picked up footage of SM running past as well, a few minutes before or after..

I think she would have left the property onto the Lane, not Eureka Street. So she would have turned left or right onto the Lane. Turing left would mean walking into bush land at the end of the Lane (if there is access to do so). Turning right would take her to Eureka street. From there should would have had to turn left or right again.

“She would have put up a damn good fight,” Allan said.

The couple said Mrs Murphy was familiar with the terrain and would have known if anyone unusual was lurking along the routes she walked in the days before she disappeared.

EBM - I don't think she's voluntarily disappeared, and don't necessarily believe suicide is an option either. Cant decide betwen accident/misadventure/other human involvement - hope Samantha is found soon, so her children and family can have some answers.
