Yes...but mere seconds later would have shown full body and attire
I can see what you mean. Maybe she was moving fast and had briefly paused to tie the bag. Other footage may not be as clear.

Nifty, I'm well and truly aware of this, once AVO is granted it is only available as per above. However, the hearing for same is a matter of public record. The person's name is under daily court list- depending on state.
Yes...! I am aware of this as well. Depending on what state.

But you can't look at their record unless you are a business or an employer

Vicpol has removed every press release from their site about Sam (even the one from a week ago)

A photo of the back of Sam heading off on her run wouldn't be as much help for identification purposes. I think they chose the best image for people to see how Sam looked that morning.

imo
Agree...however I still maintain 1-2 seconds later you'd see her fully

Don't agree... moving fast, holding a bag of poo , looking down at something..split second frame

Don't they naturally drop off with age? The oldest is Feb 11. Were any of Sam's newer than that?

Eyewatch - Ballarat Police Service Area on Facebook still has some updates on their page….

I have an issue with the photo of SM with the dog poo bag
If I was prepared to go for a run, I wouldn't have a dog poo bag with me (Unless I was taking my dog) , stop pick up the poo, dispose of it and wash my hands...then start my run! I'd see the poo and remind myself to dispose of it when I get home...
Also, the photo..why has this photo been posted, 2 seconds later would have shown her full attire... leggings, shoes...in the photo her lower body is not visible..
she could have trousers, a skirt, thongs on...also, she is looking at something...the dog? is it a bag of poo? What's the timing? If she disposed of the poo and washed her hands and then headed off on her run then there'd be another CCTV snapshot????
No time/date stamp

The info about Samantha Mizzi 's case on the Vicpol site is from June 2021.

Has anyone ever paid attention before as to how quickly these things are removed when a missing case is resolved?

We had a fellow go missing in my local area, it was removed before they made an announcement (not suspicious).

Hopefully we'll get a presser soon. Fingers crossed for good news...however unlikely at this point

Usually very quickly … although usually the FB Alerts are removed quickly as well …
IMO

I was only looking in 'breaking news'; I didn't see the other section.

I did a search on Samantha's name in the Vicpol site search box. Usually something comes up, if there is anything there.

Yeah, it's a legal thing. You have to remove missing person's info as soon as they're found, then run it past lawyers or whoever for what information can be in the public domain for anything legal in the future. Though obviously I don't know what applies right now to this.

Does it make any difference whether found alive or found dead?

That makes sense @Naobh. Looks like they might have enough evidence/strong enough case to now pull the web info and carefully move forward.

There would have to be enough time between discovery and informing loved ones in person too, hopefully.

It's interesting though, MO if a sudden big police presence occurred that stuff usually makes local FB groups etc and is not kept under wraps for long
