What I don't understand is why doesn't she get more media coverage? It's like her case has died down..
It's good to know they are still searching for her. I feel so badly for her friends & family. I cannot imagine how hard it is to not know what happened to your loved one.
I check in time to time and was going to say they should recheck area where her cell pinged last because of the little girl that was found the other day. LE searched and searched for her. They knew where her cell phone pinged and they never found her only until the killer showed them where she buried her. How can that be. Its so frustrating.
LE & the CUE center just had another extensive search for BD in several areas - one being where her phone pinged. Unfortunately nothing was found. In one of the news articles it stated that there would probably be another search before the year ended (something to that effect).
I have to wonder if someone has found BD's phone and discarded it without knowing it's significance...but then again, it could just be in deep brush or as one poster brought up...could be lodged in the bumper of someone's car...
I really, really hate to say this, but it has crossed my mind on multiple occasions that the lack of media interaction by MBPD might not be by thier own preference, but by the 'suggestion' of local politicians that don't want anything getting out that might discourage tourists from coming (it is after all a tourism dependant area), especially if it might involve human trafficking. I know that sounds cynical, but it wouldn't be the first time such things have happened.
The MBPD stand to lose a lot more by not catching or solving this crime, than to just look past it. That is the reason they are still looking into it.
Does anyone know what her friends did that night? It has been said PB and his friends went to a party but then decided to leave the party on a Saturday night to go home early. What did her friends do after they found out she was missing?
PB and his friends did not go a party my guess is they went to let people know they were getting out of town, who..? we will never know but I don't know many college boys who leave a co-ed party on a Saturday night to run straight home without even going back to their hotel.
