Was searching the entire county of Charleston. On the site it says both McClellanville and Mt. Pleasant are towns within Charleston.

I want to apologize in advance if this turns out to be a goose chase. I feel like a heel right now making everyone sleuth and getting hopes up. Thank all of you for understanding, I sincerely meant no harm if this turns out to be untrue. I mean that. I believe these girls, they each told me the same thing, so either there is some truth to it, or someone should reserve their place in hell for starting a rumor like this. I can assure you the girls I know wouldn't dare do something as cruel as that.

I heard back from the reporter. She contacted the Captain at Myrtle Beach LE. The Captain told her there is NO VALIDITY to this story at ALL.

So sad.... I was hoping Brittanee had been found. Kellync - we do appreciate your bringing this info to us as the RUMOR that it was. At least we got to check it out.

We should keep an eye out on the local news though. It could be they did find someone, only it wasn't Brittanee. Generally though, I think there would be some kind of media release if a deceased person was found.

Hmmm wonder if they are trying to keep it under wraps until she is identified. I would think after all this time they going to have to do dental or dna for identity.
I'm holding out hope that the rumor is true. I want to see Britt brought home.

sweety you did no wrong or harm and it still could be true what you were told,,i lost some faith in LE they dont really tell much till they can prove it 100%,,so dont feel bad,you only doing what you felt,you did good :-),,,i do know tho that McClellanville has there own sheriff dept,and Georgetown county LE backs them,so really it have be over on charleston border side,if all is true we soon hear it cause you know news never can be slinet for long,,but i read that DD (Britt mother) was in VA helping looking for morgan harrington girl,on Thursday,so who knows,again you only was going by what you were told,and again it could be true,,so hang in keep our eyes/ears open :-)

It's such an elaborate story to make up, ya know? And it's believable.

I've heard a lot of false sightings and the like in this case and you can tell when they're fabricated. I don't mean to say that obviously this story is true, but if not, this person has quite a good imagination.

Are there any programs such a Google Earth that can view satellite images of areas live? Perhaps we could tell if any activity is going on.

its possible you could ,but you have know area in mcclellanville to pin point it,if kellync friend or whoever was telling this,can give a address then we may can check on it? what do you think MBLOVER? shes good at this lol but im sure you have need pin point to look?

The only problem with google earth is that it is not in real time. From doing the google walk in MB up and down OB (Ocean Blvd) you can tell these pictures were taken a couple years ago or more as there are several vacant lots that now have hotels/resorts built there.

And yes, if it is possible, somehow, to see in real time on google earth we'd need an exact address or as near as possible.

kellync I've been reading your posts for a long time now and always look forward to reading them. I'm glad you posted this information. You never know when something will take root and become a reality. Don't stop posting any information you can get on this case and any case. Sometimes, LE doesn't give anything out for a long time until they are absolutely certain about things. I appreciate all you do and will continue to look for your posts. You absolutely do not have to feel like a heel. I know that you would not do anything cruel at all. thanks.

Though I think about Brittanee every day and pray for her return, today's potential lead had me thinking even more about her. I decided to make a video of her and I posted it to YouTube in hopes maybe some people will see it.
