I read her lawyer’s affidavit, and it does make me wonder how much truth there was in Moody’s claim of her involvement. But she deserves the 18 year sentence at least for not turning him in years ago.She definitely knew he kidnapped and killed her.She was with him when they picked her up. Am l wrong, but wasn’t it reported that she was a nurse?
Yes, she was a nurse.

Yes, she was a nurse.
I thought I remembered that, but in this affidavit, the lawyer gave a summary of her life… How bad she had had it, etc.… And that she got her GED, and worked at various jobs through the years…(pages6-7) But nothing was said about her being a nurse. I would have thought that would have been something he would have wanted to tell to make her look in a better light.

Hmmm... maybe she had her license revoked in the meantime?

Her license has "lapsed". I wonder if she let it lapse and didn't renew because she wouldn't be able to.

This is behind a paywall so I don't have much more than this -
GEORGETOWN — A Georgetown County jury has awarded Dawn Conley, the mother of Brittanee Drexel, a total of $700 million in damages in a personal injury lawsuit filed against Drexel’s killer.

It’s the largest amount of money awarded by a jury verdict in state history, according to Conley’s attorney Roy Willey.

“And this case is appropriate for that,” he said.

Does anyone know the details of the "false pretenses" Brittanee was abducted under?
They claimed they were tourists as well and would give her a ride back her hotel.😢

Three weeks in and everyone is tired of waiting for the next big break in the #NancyGuthrie case... but just imagine what the family is feeling, with no sleep and nonstop stress and worry.

Dawn Conley says finding a missing person is like finding a needle in a haystack, and she would know. Her 17-year-old daughter, Brittanee Drexel disappeared during Spring Break 2009 and wasn't found until 2022. Meaning, she was missing for 13 years

My daughter was missing when she was a teenager for two weeks and it was horrifying. I can't imagine worrying about an 84 year old.
