Exactly the same here. I was on anxiety meds and it turned out that was NOT my problem lol. Very, very difficult to fill my rx. I don't understand how this has become a street drug because I used to go to 3-4 pharmacies every month before I could find one who actually had it in stock to refill it. I now use t@rget and you can request that they preorder it for the next refill period - no more problems. I'm down to weight and b/p checks every 3 months now, but it takes a lot of work to obtain a rx IMO, I don't know how criminals are doing it.

She says she has vyvanase https://twitter.com/HeatherElvis

I don't know if it is off limits or not, but if HE was prescribed adhd meds and had to stop taking them
OR if she was improperly diagnosed with adhd and taking them long term
could this have anything to do with her behavior?

I can actually give my input on this since unfortunately i have struggled with an addiction to Adderall, then methamphetamine. There is really no way to tell how taking ADHD medication would affect someone whether they have been diagnosed with ADHD or not. I have been diagnosed with narcolepsy and was prescribed Adderall- so with me not having an attention disorder, i did experience a high from the prescription. I am 21 myself and see many, many people depending on the extra kick especially when you are younger. I work 2 jobs, have school, and day to day life activities and it was beyond miserable when i would be tired all the time. Taking Adderall was the only thing that would give me enough energy to make it through the day without crashing. SO- this is JMO but being around the same age as Heather, I could see her taking this for an extra kick to get through the day. on SOME people it can affect your appetite and be great for weight loss, maybe it was another reason Heather would have taken it? I know I saw a post on her Twittter about a diet and losing weight. Now back on topic, with that said if you run out of Adderall or cannot get your hands on something similar then personally I believe you would turn to something else. I would have to get a doctor visit and a new script each month, and plan with my pharmacy to make sure they could fill it. In the event that i did not have enough to get me through the days/weeks I would honestly turn into an angry, grumpy, depressed person and I would find myself just overall down about everything. I mean i could sleep 18+ hours and still feel tired, but with the help of the pill I would actually feel like i could operate like a normal person and have a life that did not revolve around sleeping. May or not be helpful since everyone is different but yes this could have altered her mood especially if there were any other medications or if she drank frequently. IMO

thanks for letting me add my two-cents =]

I understand hockeymom. If the date SAW her at 2 am of the 18th then why are they not stating the 18th?

I think it's possible they are leaving it as the 17th because of the many people who are up all night long, working or what-have-you...those people may still relate the early morning hours of the 18th as being the night of the 17th. LE may not want to miss such a key group that could hold very relevant information.

I agree more for the missing report, even though, I still find so many holes. Don't want to go down that path again because I know many didn't like discussing it.

What I don't understand in any capacity is leaving the 17th on the poster when the car was supposedly reported on the 19th. I just can't understand saying it was found on the 17th, if it was actually found on the 19th. IMO, it is a red flag and makes me question and second guess a lot of things.

snipped by me for space

Meanwhile a suspected felon is still lurking, awake now after having likely slept at some point in the previous 24 hrs (I say this because he'd probably been awake for quite some time before actually committing the crime that led to him fleeing) and while on foot...their paths cross.

What happens after that I don't know and can only continue to speculate...but whatever the case may be and from what little that's been verified, I've began to realize such a theory doesn't seem to be too far-fetched.

But why wouldn't the felon take the car? :scared:

So your theory is that the date never happened and she was already missing when TE got the text on 12/17 and they had begun the report? Can we find record of when the abandoned car report was made on spot crime?

I think it could be possible. For everything I have been thinking about the 17-19, it would make sense. I think the date did what he was told by HE because she was planning to see OM...maybe. Or maybe she was doing something else. I just think there are so many things that don't make sense with the timeline. I could be totally wrong. My theory was always that she left on her own. I felt that she used the date as a cover for her to get out of town and someone helped. Maybe he drove her car there, whenever. If she left at the start of the date, 7pm, by 2am, when she was getting home from the date, she could have been anywhere. On the other side, maybe she wanted to stay local and hang out OM. Just some ideas.

IMO, I think it is because they can trace her back to being in the car on the night/morning of the 17/18th and not after that. As someone else mentioned, someone who saw something after midnight on the 17th going on 18th and before daylight would possibly relate to that date (17th) better than the 19th. And we're pretty sure HE wasn't driving around during the later day of the 18th, from what I understand.

All of our schools were closed today and will be again tomorrow. That's four days so far this month. It is very rare for our city schools to ever close. A few years ago was the first time in about 8 years, which is crazy because we get a TON of snow. It is just so dang cold. Everyone stay safe.

-12 here high tomorrow 5 above........they just canceled our schools......LOL

I thought her roommate's license was found in the car...we both found?

I do not think LE would make a point of officially clearing the date without verifying it, but who knows. I really do not believe the date was non-existent, though I also do not necessarily believe it was more than dinner with a friend. JMO her feelings were otherwise engaged.

The poster says, "her car was DISCOVERED abandoned on 12/17." It shouldn't matter when she was last seen or last seen it, it only matters when it was discovered abandoned.

<Mod Snip>. It is either incorrect, as I believe, or a cover-up.

So in this hypothetical theory, does LE know that she never went out with the date and that is just top secret info they aren't releasing? He took a poly, so that is what has me wondering?

The young man who took her on the date was brought in to be questioned by the police and eventually fully cleared. I have never met the young man, but his story checked out and a polygraph fully cleared him of any potential involvement.

So wouldn't the police have noticed her ping location being 11 hours away during the phone contact with OM at 6 am?

If she walked away on her own, she would just need to prove her identity to LE for verification and we could all stop looking, like with the 2nd missing person that disappeared here a few days after her. Family knows they are safe, person has a new life.

Well IIRC, there was some discussion about the neighbor who reported the car and confusion over the date that neighbor first saw the car. Perhaps that is where the discrepancy comes in and LE didn't see a reason to let the public know. MOO

I think the "date" himself has been cleared, for sure. I think he has been forthcoming with all details. If it was that they never went out that night, that could still clear him. Maybe they went out a few days, weeks before. I just feel that HE did something else that night.

I agree and think that could be true. No need to do an article, press, release etc. But, there is no reason why the poster of the missing person would not have correct date. Think about it. Everyones mind would then go back to that date and what They saw around PTL on the 17th. That is a shame because they are not thinking of the right dates.

snip.....

Except a polygraph really doesn't DEFINITIVELY prove anything. There ARE many ways around them...

Isn't it common to have an incorrect fact to put it an article so that those people close to the crime or who witnessed it will call to correct the info and then they can softly start to question them. Sometimes people are too intimated to call with something that could be small tip for fear that it is meaningless, but if they call to correct the info the person speaking them can lead them along into getting some more info? I know I've seen it several times on documentaries.

In my theory, LE knows everything because date has told them everything. They aren't releasing because she had told people she was going on this date and maybe OM thought she was or someone else thought she was and they want the person to continue to think she was on a date. I do agree about the ping and OM and that is the only thing that has the thing with her leaving, stumped. That is why I go back to her still have been in SC. Her dad is friends with LE, so maybe she think LE will tell her family where she is at if she at. I really go back and forth on this one.

You know, for him to be cleared of ANY potential involvement it sounds like he must have one rock-hard heck of an alibi. It does cause me to question the events of the night.
