Exactly the same here. I was on anxiety meds and it turned out that was NOT my problem lol. Very, very difficult to fill my rx. I don't understand how this has become a street drug because I used to go to 3-4 pharmacies every month before I could find one who actually had it in stock to refill it. I now use t@rget and you can request that they preorder it for the next refill period - no more problems. I'm down to weight and b/p checks every 3 months now, but it takes a lot of work to obtain a rx IMO, I don't know how criminals are doing it.
She says she has vyvanase https://twitter.com/HeatherElvis
I don't know if it is off limits or not, but if HE was prescribed adhd meds and had to stop taking them
OR if she was improperly diagnosed with adhd and taking them long term
could this have anything to do with her behavior?
I can actually give my input on this since unfortunately i have struggled with an addiction to Adderall, then methamphetamine. There is really no way to tell how taking ADHD medication would affect someone whether they have been diagnosed with ADHD or not. I have been diagnosed with narcolepsy and was prescribed Adderall- so with me not having an attention disorder, i did experience a high from the prescription. I am 21 myself and see many, many people depending on the extra kick especially when you are younger. I work 2 jobs, have school, and day to day life activities and it was beyond miserable when i would be tired all the time. Taking Adderall was the only thing that would give me enough energy to make it through the day without crashing. SO- this is JMO but being around the same age as Heather, I could see her taking this for an extra kick to get through the day. on SOME people it can affect your appetite and be great for weight loss, maybe it was another reason Heather would have taken it? I know I saw a post on her Twittter about a diet and losing weight. Now back on topic, with that said if you run out of Adderall or cannot get your hands on something similar then personally I believe you would turn to something else. I would have to get a doctor visit and a new script each month, and plan with my pharmacy to make sure they could fill it. In the event that i did not have enough to get me through the days/weeks I would honestly turn into an angry, grumpy, depressed person and I would find myself just overall down about everything. I mean i could sleep 18+ hours and still feel tired, but with the help of the pill I would actually feel like i could operate like a normal person and have a life that did not revolve around sleeping. May or not be helpful since everyone is different but yes this could have altered her mood especially if there were any other medications or if she drank frequently. IMO
thanks for letting me add my two-cents =]
