I wonder if the Dec. reference to pings was a media assumption.
I tend to go with LE on the phone records, but TE does not, for whatever reason.

I sure hope the trunk of her car was checked...

I have wondered the same thing about the trunk! One would think it is common sense to check it but some of this case has been handled in so many backwards ways til I don't know what to think !

Technically, if they went to SM's house and he appeared at the door and told them to go eff themselves, showing that on the show would constitute "hearing from the man many think etc."

Good point. Something as small as "go #$@% yourself" or "no comment" does technically constitute as "hearing from the man," even if doesn't really offer us any new details.

If I not carry my purse, I would take my phone, keys and license before using my car and put them on the seat, just in case. When I just go to a store or to pick something up, I sometimes just take my license and debit card, as my purse is big and heavy. I think a 20-year driving in the middle of the night would want her license handy. JMO

Now that is a good point !!!

The bolded statement really stood out to me, too...

I wonder who that person is?

But... I imagine it is a tease...on the part of the network...

JMO

I think that the person may be the date. JMO of course but most people that aren't on the FHEFB or us here at WS hear/read that HE is missing after her 1st date. That is immediately what I thought when I read it. I could be wrong but it's def a ratings ploy, no way SM is going to be on with them IMO.

I didn't even think about the DL being in the seat. I remember hearing that someone (fake cop) in MB was pulling over girls and trying to assault them etc. I wonder if she could have been pulled over. I have no idea why the perp would grab her phone and purse though. Doesn't make much sense but then again what does in this case.

  • #186
Although the teaser DOES say that we'll hear from many of those involved in the case who've never spoken out before. Trying to think of who we've heard from already....

TE
ME
DE
BB

Who does that leave? SM, TM, BW, SS, possibly violent ex, brother CE?

There are definitely other "players" involved IMO. I'm sure in your O too.

I have a few <Mod Snip> in mind that I would love to hear from that haven't been discussed on WS or in MSM.

Getting the  ready for 6!

Actually even if Ms.OMM 's DNA was in the car it could be explain off through transferring from her husband .. The car is tainted to a point BUT if unknown DNA is present and is traced back to a "interested" third party that would at least point LE in a direction that maybe wasn't considered, imo.

Realistically, though, if there were any indication whatsoever that the car was involved in any kind of crime -- anything from somebody else's clothing to a used condom to only one shoe -- or if there were scuff marks that looked like a fight, or tracks leading to the water, wouldn't they have called it a crime rather than a missing person case?

Which sounds to me like it means that whatever happened to her, it happened somewhere else after she left the car.

Some people have said that if LE thinks the Moorers are innocent, then they would clear them so the lynch mob would back off. However, what if LE currently has another suspect, someone who the public is not aware of, and they are letting everyone think they are focused on the Moorers, so their suspect doesn't get suspicious? I am not saying it would be morally right, but do you think LE would do something like that? It's not like they have been saying that the Moorers are suspect/POI's; they just haven't said that they aren't. So I don't think it would be illegal or grounds for a lawsuit (against LE)...

Interesting view of PTL. Makes me rethink how or why the car was placed there! I had imagined from previous views that the area was larger, was much more isolated, the inlet was narrower, and the water was more shallow. Do I have the correct address? https://maps.google.com/maps?q=6699+Peachtree+Rd,+Myrtle+Beach,+SC+29588-9327&hl=en&ll=33.694128,-79.047395&spn=0.002597,0.003484&sll=40.07304,-74.724323&sspn=6.917648,14.27124&t=h&hnear=6699+Peachtree+Rd,+Myrtle+Beach,+South+Carolina+29588&z=19

If the interview isn't with SM (and you would think they would mention him by name if it was), then it sounds like it's with someone who people believe knows what happens to Heather, not that he's guilty, but that he has a theory about it. If it is, I have no idea why they are making it into some big deal. Some private citizen thinks he knows what happened to Heather---he isn't part of LE---he just has a theory, let's give him some airtime!

They way I understand it is they will have GS on there who has been a huge part in trying to find Heather .

Hey y'all ... I was a bit under the weather over the weekend and reading the forum has been challenging with my fatigued brain. I hope I didn't miss anything important! I have to work until 7 tonight so I'm gonna miss the news at 6 (at least until I get home) so I trusting my fellow sleuthers to keep me updated on here until then! :)

I had typed in my theory and when I came to the end, my cat jumped on the laptop and deleted...so let me begin again...

I believe that HE drove to PTL to meet someone that was driving to meet her. She got out of her car with her keys, phone etc, locked the door and jumped in this person's car. It could have been to talk or head somewhere. Once she was in that car, she was retrained in some way to be taken to a new location to be killed. That would ensure cadaver dogs would not hit on the car and it is was OM's car, her DNA would most likely already been in it from previous months.

Could it be that TE is fixated on 3:41 because this was the last time anyone heard her voice and the texts/PMS that were sent after that time was in such a language that makes him believe that were not typed by Heather. Most people have a certain way they talk to their friends and if the communications suddenly changed, it could be a good indication that she was not in control of her phone. Even here in WS, I am able to determine who is posting without looking at the name sometimes.

Thoughts?

Very thought provoking suggestion! This could absolutely be a possibility, IMO, especially considering the fact that LE has given the public nothing to go on....
