Not according to the article - Says she was on the date until 2-2:30. Call to roommate was a 1:45am:

It’s been widely reported in police records and media accounts that Elvis left for a date at about 7 p.m. Dec. 17, and that she returned to her River Oaks Drive apartment sometime between 2 and 2:30 p.m.
It’s also been widely reported that Elvis text messaged a photo of herself to her father at 10:43 p.m. that showed her learning to drive a manual transmission vehicle.

Elvis’ roommate, identified in a police report as Brianna Warrelmann, received a phone call from Elvis at about 1:44 a.m. Dec. 18, police records state.

According to the report, the roommate said the victim “seemed like she was crying and upset” due to receiving a call from a man the report says was nearly twice her age.

The report also said the victim previously had a relationship with the man, and that he said he left his wife and wanted to be with the victim.

Earlier it was suggested that BW was in the Florida panhandle - an hour later timezone.

20 year old girls are hot. Add it makes an older man feel good that a young, attractive woman wants to be with him.

yes and she was 19 when the affair started? Is that legal age in SC???
IMO, I have a feeling that HE did NOT want to move on and she may of been the one begging him to see her.....she wanted what he had promised her....JMOO Also I think her young date did add fuel to a fire. But again JMOO I think she went out with the new guy just for 'looks'.......

major creepy factor, right there.... ugh.

There are a lot of relationships at my work with LARGE age gaps. I don't get it, but it works for them. Some have gotten married, had kids...others are just a fling.

he called bw at 144. so she already had a chat with OM (older man!) that was long enough to discuss him leaving his wife.... date says he's sure he dropped her off after 2!

According to the report he said he spoke to her the night before as well. Also, maybe they spoke while in the bathroom or sent texts.

I think she was probably using her phone during the date. She was likely able to use it almost without seeing, and maybe if she saw a call or text while in a restaurant, for example, she excused herself.

As far as being up at 6am, I think it sounds like the parties were up from the night before, i.e some continuous calls between 2-6. And again, times in article may not be to the minute.

IMO this guy has to be POI #1 of 1, until he can be 100% cleared, if he can be.

first of all, love the poster who called "the married man" by the initials OM, for "old(er) man". OM for Old Man. Perfect.

And the time of the phone calls, any way the roommate was in another time zone? an hour off? I just can't remember if I read that somewhere...........

Isn't legal age 18 everywhere?

You know, I always wondered why LE went to her Dad's house after finding the vehicle. You would think they'd just phone him. I only just realized how close the landing is to her parents house. Much closer than it is to her new apartment.

But how would LE know his number??

Imamaze asked me to take a look at this case. Is there a timeline or cliff notes version of the 9 threads? Otherwise it might take me a while to catch up.

If someone has a Google earth view with notes, I can make some educated guesses for search areas.

Yay, Hi trackergd! Thanks for joining us!! :)

You just got here didntcha? :/

I lurk far more than I post, I thought I'd read every post from today but I must have missed where this was already posted :blushing:

She may have been in a bathroom or stepped away to take a call while on the date. And he may have been off on his times by some minutes. Maybe she even posted to Tumbler while on her date.

Then she was in and out of different moods and had varying focuses while on a date, with those changes entirely escaping her date's observations. Again, I'm not pointing any fingers at the date. I'm saying there are things that don't jive, for whatever reason, even if the date's memory of times was slightly off.

But then this timeline has always had problems.

Maybe the roommate's location in Florida was in the central timezone area ?

article does not state if the roommate and Heather had only one phone conversation ?
The timing is off in the article but I am trusting the substance.

Also from this link:

"Elvis’ roommate, the police report said, told officers that Elvis “seemed like she was crying and upset” after Elvis reported a conversation with that man.
Police are also reviewing reports about another man who may have been a coworker of Elvis.
A police report describes the possible coworker as “possibly being abusive” and “possibly violent.”
Horry County police spokesman Lt. Robert Kegler said both men identified in the report as being connected to Elvis have been interviewed.
Efforts to contact either man have been unsuccessful.
The Carolina Forest Chronicle has not identified the other persons in the report by name because no criminal charges have been filed. No suspects or persons of interest have been identified, Kegler said."

Based on the extensive write up with new details, times, names of players, etc., I'd say investigative journalism is alive and well in HC. :twocents: :moo:

aha! yes, so 144 in, say, Pensacola (idk, just pulled a city off the map) would be 244 in SC...

He's a young guy. He's just happy to be on a date with a pretty girl. Some guys aren't very observant when it comes to woman and their moods.

Ok, I am new here, so please pardon me while I learn my way around.
This case has taken so many twist since I started trying to figure it out from home.
I do Computer and phone repairs on the side here in my hometown in NC and would be happy to help LE pull any files from computers ( such as deleted pictures or what ever may be needed.

If the date says she was happy and roommate says she said the date went well but then was crying & upset over OM (older man) that would mean 1 of them is not telling the truth or is confused. She can't be crying on the phone with her roommate while still happy on the date with date guy all while posting pics on SM. I agree this timeline doesn't make sense at all. *IMO*

But how would LE know his number??

My point wasn't really that they went to his house, was just curious.

My point is how CLOSE to his house her car was found.

Imagine needing to dispose of her car. You'd park it somewhere far from her place, and far from your own place. Then find out "oops, that's just around the corner from her parents".

Or HE could have just showed up at this guys house at some point.
