A Greenville father has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for killing his 4-year-old son, stuffing his body in trash bags and dumping him in a thicket of kudzu.

Christopher Lamar Wilson pleaded guilty to homicide by child abuse in the August 2007 death, as well as to two counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature when he stomped on two inmates who he said were ridiculing him about the charges...

[H]e admitted to jerking Mayes when the boy had peed on the floor, causing his head to hit the toilet, then leaving him in the bath where he drowned.
