Detectives with the Pickens County Sheriff's Office are asking for assistance locating a missing man named Justin Scott Gasper (age 34).

Mr. Gasper was last seen leaving his residence on Shivers Lane in Liberty around 10:00 p.m. on 5/3/2024. According to the family, he was traveling on foot.

Mr. Gasper is a white male who is 5'7" and weighs 180 pounds. He has red hair and blue eyes.

Mr. Gasper was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and dark-colored shoes.

Looks like he's a happy-type guy. Traveling on foot -- was he just taking a walk and something happened -- meeting someone in a car?
He's been missing almost a week -- this is a worry for his friends and family, I'm sure. Glad LE is on it.

He has a long history with law enforcement, including multiple charges for the manufacturing and distribution of illegal drugs, larceny, malicious injury to animals and property, aggravated assault, poaching and other crimes. Family offering reward for information on missing Pickens County man

Deputies said the man was last seen leaving his home in May.

The family of a man who has been missing in Pickens County for a month and half is now offering a reward.

The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office said 34-year-old Justin Gasper was last seen leaving his home on Shivers Lane around 10 p.m. on May 3.

Gasper’s family and friends are now offering an $11,000 reward for information leading to his whereabouts.

PICKENS COUNTY, S.C.(WSPA) – The Pickens County Coroner’s Office and Pickens County Sheriff’s Office are investigating after human remains were discovered Saturday morning.

The sheriff’s office said individuals using land grading equipment in the area found the remains in a heavily wooded area near the home of Justin Scott Gasper, who went missing earlier this year.

There's been no word as to the identification of the body. The last time his Mom updated FB though was May of 2024.

Human remains have been found in Pickens County. Looks like it’s about 18 minutes away from where Justin went missing. It appears authorities know the identity but details have not yet been released.
