Daunte Johnson, the suspect in the murders of Sharee Bradley and Nevaeh Adams, just made a preliminary appearance in court today. The court found “probable cause” in all five of his charges.

Johnson has been charged two counts of murder, two counts of using a weapon during a violent crime, and possession of a stolen vehicle.
His public defender, Timothy Murphy, says they are still in the beginning stages and that his client is innocent until proven otherwise.

Several family members, including Nevaeh’s biological father and grandfather, were in the courtroom. Her grandfather was escorted out of the courtroom because he got emotional when details of Johnson’s arrest were read aloud in court.

Daunte Johnson, the man charged with the Sumter murders of Sharee Bradley and her 5 y/o daughter Nevaeh has been bound over for trial. Prosecutors say they found blood from both victims on the first floor of the apt., and a droplet from Nevaeh outside.

CONT: Nevaeh’s father and grandfather still believe she is alive and are holding out hope. They say God is in control and knows what he is doing. Having said that, the last month and a half have been agonizing, they say.
