Murdaugh trial: Alex's brother John Marvin, son Buster, and sister-in-law Liz just walked into court together. All three of them are on the "defense only" witness list. Randy Murdaugh, of PMPED, is on the prosecution/ defense list.

You make a good prediction about the defense tactic at trial but I bet you a Gray's Papaya hot dog or black and white cookie #AlexMurdaugh takes the stand. Defendant lawyers almost always think they can talk their way to an acquittal.

While I suspect AM is guilty, I am going to keep an open mind during the trial. This is my challenge to myself. Can the prosecution prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he is guilty?

About 8:50pm the defendant #AlexMurdaugh shot his son Paul in the shoulder and then another shot went up through his head. Paul collapsed right outside that feeder. Moments later he picked up a 300 Blackout rifle and opened fire on his wife Maggie. "Pow! Pow!" Pros. opening

The evidence is going to show that neither Paul or Maggie had any defensive wounds. Both were shot at extreme close range. Prosecution opening.

The evidence is going to show that #AlexMurdaugh told anyone that would listen that he was never at those kennels but his phone showed that he was there. Prosecution opening.

Maggie was killed with a 300 Blackout rifle, an AR style rifle. You'll hear evidence that #AlexMurdaugh bought two of those rifles and not long after that one of them went missing from Paul's truck. Time went by and Alex bought another one. Prosecution opening.

You going to hear that the casings surrounding Maggie's dead body match the casings that were previously fired by Paul and his friend in other locations. Only one of those Blackout rifles was accounted for when police arrived. Prosecution opening.

The key piece of evidence you'll hear in this case is the cellphone evidence. Maggie's, Paul's and #AlexMurdaugh. Prosecution opening.
