Yup. And Harpo also loves to interject the word "butcher" -- as if there was ever a knife introduced?!!
I counted 11 times he said the word butcher, but I bet it was more.

We will have opening statements this afternoon in SC v. #AlexMurdaugh, according to Judge Newman. Prosecutors say they'll be ready at 3 p.m.

WATCH LIVE: Opening Statements Underway in SC v. #AlexMurdaugh. Asst. Attorney General Creighton Waters for the State https://youtu.be/C2zGurGT_fw via
@LawCrimeNetwork

Whoa. Interesting we were talking about gun shot residue earlier on
@LawCrimeNetwork

Creighton Waters just said Alex Murdaugh took a blue raincoat to his parents house early one morning and put it upstairs. He says it had gunshot residue on it.

Also said the shotgun had Maggie's DNA on it. Gunshot residue also in Alex Murdaugh's car

Creighton Waters says a video on Paul's phone shows Alex Murdaugh was at the dog kennels the night of the murders because his voice is on it. Waters says three minutes later, Paul's phone goes silent forever.

#AlexMurdaugh appears to wipe tears away as his attorney, Dick Harpootlian, talks about the injuries to Paul and Maggie. "Paul was the apple of his eye." DH says Paul's head exploded. "Alex would be covered in blood.”

Dick Harpootlian: There are no forensics tying him to the murder

Dick Harpootlian: By the way, that audio they have of Alex- it's he and Maggie talking about one of the dogs killing a chicken... there's no animosity.

Dick Harpootlian: He. Didn't. Do. It. He's presumed innocent. He didn't do it.

Dick Harpootlian says the blue tarp SLED was told Alex Murdaugh took to his parents home was not a raincoat. He said a witness said, that's not it. State objects. Judge Newman sustains

And at least 5 times during the motions hearing on Tuesday! I'm convinced it must be a code word between him and Alec where the defendant can pretend to have and show emotion. MOO

Why do they allow AM to linger afterwards and talk to his family and eat tic tacs, he was trying to put them in the his jacket pocket. Hah!

Most prisoners would be handcuffed and moved out of the courtroom as soon as the jury is dismissed.

Does the State need to explain the lack of blood on him or in his car? Did he have time to wash it off? Would there have been blood on him? Under the state's theory he would have had time to get rid of the guns. Thinking out loud.... JMO.

Absolutely there was enough time to take off a rain jacket or whatever he was wearing and stash it somewhere (mom's house) or hand it off to someone.

Plus LE didn't set up a crime scene at the main house so AM and his family, friends etc. had full access to the Moselle home and facilities.

Hmm...Perhaps this is where the controversy between AM with a rain-coat vs a tarp comes into play. o_O

Shouldn’t that field trip have been decided upon pre-trial?

wow the injuries to Paul....just wow. It's busy season for me at work so I had not heard about the snapchat vid...I hope we get to see that. Also didn't know they were both face down. You would think a concerned husband/father would have turned over at least one of them to try cpr.
but nah....not him.

I would have thought so. At this point I wouldn't agree to it at this late stage if I was the State.

The murders occurred just before 8:50. He arrived at his mothers, apparently, at 9:20. So he had a half-hour.

Since he allegedly had the foresight to plant two guns at the kennels, I expect he carefully planned what he'd do afterwards. For example, showered, changed clothes, hid the evidence somewhere temporarily, for later disposal...

Poot shot himself in the foot. Paul recorded video at the kennels at 8:44& 55 seconds. In that video you'll hearing Paul, Maggie and Alex's voices. "He was at the murder scene with the two victims." 8:49 & 1 second Paul's phones locks forever. 8:49 & 31 seconds Maggie's phone locks.
Look at these numbers.

Numbers don't lie. (Unlike AM who said he was NEVER there).

8:49 and 31 seconds Maggie's phone locks.

AM has maintained that he was visiting his ill father at the time of the murders. Lol!

Evidence then shows Murdaugh “firing up” his car and leaving at 9:06 p.m.

(AM did not call 911 to report the deaths until 10:06 p.m. Alibi building).

Since he was there on the video.
And he was there at 9:06 pm
If someone else did the shooting, was AM deaf??
Did he have plugs in his ears??

Because he doesn't say anything about hearing weapons being fired. Ugh!

AM was at his own house. Washing off and changing clothes would have been quick and easy.
