I think about how many lives have been changed due to this 10 year story and it keeps going. All police officers that seen the crimes sceen, close friends, & then the jury.
Something that can bring an entire town to its knees and just one soulless man did a good job at it.

Sounds like misinformation. Security is tight. How could anyone get into judge's chambers?
They may not have; they may simply have threatened that they did so.

Either way, that could be an attempt to intimidate this judge OR it could just be an unrelated idiot who did something spectacularly stupid. Either way, the person should be found and charged.

Of this, I’m sure: this judge will not be intimidated. He will be unaffected by this action and will regain command of his courtroom.

Remember in the Darrell Brooks trial we had some kind of a threat and evacuation as well. Even though it was just a couple of months ago, I can't remember the details.
@Gardenista that was a bizarre one also! Cant remember an evacuation though now…may have happened, just can’t remember.

That Trial was a Circus for sure. There was the Fake message on Reddit as well, another trick to get a mistrial. The FBI found the person who did that. Nuts and Idiots are everywhere. I can not imagine having to go through that again. One crafty, sociopathic criminal.

Liking the Judge myself and as I said going with the flow but solid like a rock.

I just googled it and it was a threat of a mass shooting. There was also something crazy about Reddit, but I can't remember what that was either lol. I do remember Darrell asking for mistrials and Judge Dorow saying it was not going to happen.

I have a question about the closing arguments being factual. It seems to me that at times DH went beyond persuasive language to flat out misleading lies. Can lawyers lie? There seems to be no real boundaries. Can DH just tell the jury a pack of lies or does he have to honor the evidence?
Both opening and closing statements by attorneys are not evidence. It's not sworn testimony.

The Judge will instruct the jurors of this as he did before opening statements. Judges also instruct jurors that if they hear something during sworn testimony that's contrary to what they heard in an opening/closing statement, they should rely on the testimony. MOO

Whisked him away???!
Maybe whatever was said in the bomb threat mentioned "The Murdaugh's" in general and he was MIA and they got worried?

And if one side clearly misstates the evidence, the other side will object and will be sustained.
