I think it was 16 minutes each way. If he didn't leave Moselle until 9:22pm -- with a round trip of 32 minutes plus 21 mins at his mother's house -- he wouldn't be back to Moselle until 10:15pm. Unless my math is wrong. It does seem like he left Moselle at around 9:07pm.

I think he arrived at his Mom's at 9:22 and left at 9:43, getting back to Moselle at 10:00 (iirc).

And the look on BM's face when everyone was leaving the courtroom..... IMO, today may have been the first time he realized that the only reason he is breathing is because he wasn't there....

Again, all JMO. moo
I wonder that too. I don’t find anyone in this family likeable, but I felt for BM, imagining that if I were in his position I would be terrified of losing the last person that close to me—and wondering if that person was the reason the rest of my family is dead.

So do I. I was responding to the OP's idea that he left Moselle at 9:22, which does not seem possible. Yes, the car data seems to indicate that he got to his mother's around 9:23 and left around 9:43.

Why? Does it seem scattered to you? It does to me. It could be because there is so much technical info to get through. I feel like they need to throw a bit more towards the emotional side of the case.

When the answer is good for the state I feel like there should be a few more seconds before the next question is asked. Let it register.

It’s frustrating for sure. The prosecution never builds on any momentum to any “wow” moment they have.
Also, we don’t need six hours of testimony to get across that the ammo that killed MM matches the ammo outside the gun room. An hour would have done it. The prosecution is overcompensating for the fear that the defense is going to try and say it was a sloppy, slipshod investigation.
And I’m with you, I’m ready for some friend and family testimony.

i wanted to like Buster.... but tonight I happened to listen to 30 minutes or so of the alex/ buster jail phone calls regarding Alex bribing Buster's way back in to Univ. of S.Carolina law school and blamed others for the "problem"/cheating he created. my opinion only, he is a little snot, who thinks the universe revolves around him. i don't care if it was the way he was raised- i wouldn't want to be around him.

From a panel on AB tonight:

‘Defense is using the state’s witnesses as character references for AM. Most everyone is consistently testifying about how good of a friend, father and husband he was. He was at every event for the boys, he would do anything to help and show up for people, etc’

Also Eric Bland mentioned that DH has been unusually quiet the last 2 days.

The defense got stuck having to elicit this testimony when they screwed up and showed the birthday party video. I personally think it's a bad idea to continue to draw attention to it when prosecution witnesses have made it so clear that you can't believe anything from him. Makes no sense to me.

I've always has this nagging feeling that Alex committed the murders because he was ashamed and didn't want his family to know the extent of his crimes. I believe if BM was at Moselle that night he would have been killed as well. JMO

That’s a good description, ‘they aren’t building on any momentum to the Wow moments they have’. I’m frustrated that they aren’t taking advantage of the opportunities.

I agree that 6 hours of ammo was overkill. The problem I see is the human universal ability to stay engaged is very short in comparison. It all sounds the same after a certain point.

I’d like him to talk more about the intimidation people felt and still feel now.

He could have said ‘what made AM be suddenly nice after years of not being warm and appreciative (paralegals)?’ That clearly signals damage control and looking to play on people’s sympathy.

I agree. I wonder if Buster believes him.

It may be at his request from an inside job. A bomb threat will make the jury and witnesses think about going up against him with consequences.
Ita.
Wondering if Alex had a 'friend' call in the bomb threat ?

If it is true that MM was going to file for divorce from AM, and look into his finances, I wonder if that was why AM committed the murders, at least the murder of MM.

"The article, which cites "a law enforcement source familiar with the investigation," added that "Maggie drove one hour from the family's home into Charleston in late April to meet with a lawyer to explore her options about ending her marriage to Alex Murdaugh... What happened during that exploratory consultation is not known – but the source tells PEOPLE that Maggie, 52, had just begun to look into the family finances to determine the state of their marital assets."

Realistically it’s a high chance of it being true. He’s been doing stuff like this for years. Why would he stop now, he hasn’t been turned into a decent human magically. He’s plotting every day.

Seems like the Defense will argue that several clients could have hated Alex because of the stealing (motive); killing Maggie and Paul would not solve his law firm stealing problem; he loved his family; and the State's time line doesn't make sense (not enough time to get rid of guns and blood). I'm not saying I agree with these points, just thinking what the defense can argue about reasonable doubt.
