There was a packet handed by Alex's sister given to Alex via his counsel...he has been drug tested in the last 24 hours.

It was so much I need to listen again. Crazy stuff!

Apparently something was passed from the family to Alex. Judge moved the family back in the courtroom and told them the next seat was out the door. Buster was admonished for flipping the bird at Tinsley

Good lord. These people would not know dignified (or even barely appropriate) behavior if it slapped them in the face.

Obviously JG was trying to say AM was too much of a good family man to kill his wife and son.
Now, if we all turn to the right side of the Family Annihilators Tour bus, we can wave to Chris Watts, John List, Susan Smith, Jeffrey MacDonald, Charles Lawson, etc, etc.
After most of these crimes, friends say “we had no idea…”

Zero respect for anyone. It's disgusting.

I THOUGHT I had seen Buster do that! Sorry, but whatever the claims about how polite they might be by some of those testifying, those boys were just not raised right.

Some who have reached a certain level of privilege teach their young that "to whom much is given, much is expected" and they teach humility, care for and obligation to the well-being of others, and the Jeffersonian ideal that "all men are created free and equal." I see none of that here.

FYI. Buster mentioned this show on a phone call with daddy dearest: 2020, Fall of the House of Murdaugh show

Defiance, the last act of stupidity I'm guessing runs deep in this family.

Interesting…this seems in reference to Buster and AM’s sister Lynn. Supposedly according to this Buster gave Tinsley the finger when he was testifying.

He scratched his nose with his middle finger. He apparently has the maturity of a middle schooler.

If I were a friend of the young lady accompanying him, I'd tell her to run, run like the wind. All that hubris is just a huge invitation for nemesis to make a call.

Now we know why Buster was moved further back

Clannish behavior and a strong sense of entitlement; common traits among the wealthy clans in the US these days. See it a lot these days in trials involving defendants from that demographic.

If I were the judge, he'd be staying to sweep the room at the end of each day for the next week!

The way Buster & Lynn are acting just goes to show they still obviously think they’re above reproach. Also Buster…are you five years old?

I am still wanting prosecution or someone here to clarify the Suburban data and how it helps the state's case at all. It's been said here before, and I agree, that it seems to support Alex's alibi and overall timeline.
Obviously we (and the jury) can't get around his voice on Paul's video. He clearly did it. But I am somewhat amazed as to how little other forensic evidence there seems to be given the timeline. He had ~20 minutes or less to get himself clean and dispose of all necessary evidence and actually seems to have done a pretty good job. Would we be here without the video? Probably not, there would just not be enough to have charged him. From what we have seen so far. This is all MOO. I hope PM and MM get justice but, unless I am missing something, this all seems to hinge on the video.
MOO
Also RE: retirement rocking chair. My Dad recently retired from being a lifelong professor at a pharmacy school in Indiana. He received an engraved rocking chair as well. So it's definitely a thing.

I was thinking cleaning the urinals and toilets at the end of each day.

Takes a lot of nerve to flout court rules. IMO they should be thrown out.

Crazy stuff from Fits. The family has been admonished for their behavior in court and Alex is being drug tested

This trial keeps on giving! Mercy! They did need to be kept away from him though.

I have a question and it was probably answered 10 threads ago so I apologize. Why was the picture of Mr. Murdaugh III taken out of the courtroom?
Judge Newman ordered it removed.

These are not good people. They have money because they are thieves, no class! Buster needs to be found in contempt of court for his behavior.

The Murdaugh version: "to whom much is given, much is expected in return from everyone you meet".
I believe that BM knows exactly what his father is capable of and how he has made money in less than scrupulous and ethical ways. I also believe that BM sees nothing wrong with gaming the system as evidenced in the jail calls. Between the 2 brothers, PM was a wild card. I don't believe AM thought he could be brought around to "the law according to Alex" but BM is teachable and willing to learn and if PM was the apple of his eye, BM is the peach.
It's obvious that the Murdaugh family has no respect but DH and JG passing a packet??? they're supposed to be officers of the court aren't they?

Yesterday with the bomb threat, I wondered if that was an attempt to leave something to be picked up when court resumed. Something too big to be passed by hand. No one was looking for a small box or large envelope left around or on the defense table...they were looking for a bomb.

When was AM's drug test? was the packet passing before or after?
