I doubt it. The Dr. clearly stated it was not a contact wound but if I murdered someone I would want my attorney to push it off on anyone he could wouldn't I?
AM is not a stand-up guy and he sure doesn't mind ripping off people at their lowest. People were closing in on him so, I see the motive. I also see that this family was feared and hated so I will keep an open mind just in case they can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that AM wasn't the one who did this.

Harpootlian is trying to establish that Paul was killed with a contact shotgun wound, essentially a direct, execution-style shot to the head. Riemer isn’t buying it. She says Paul's wounds tell her the pellets traveled through his shoulder and neck before hitting his brain.

As much as DH is attempting to fluster the forensic pathologist, she is standing firm and isn't allowing DH to muddy her testimony.

I'm thinking after the first shot to the side of the chest his head turned away which can be a natural reaction to protect the face. The second shot made contact with the side of his head towards the back.

But she thinks he turned towards the left shoulder, idk guns are not my area lol

I agree with this but, does anyone else think that another reason he did it is because he knew since he was taller how the bullet projectory would look if he was standing fully up and would make him look more guilty than he already does - moo?
Like, it all seems so planned that AM, being a hunting type, would also plan how he was going to surprise/shoot them and make it look like it wasn't him?

Dr. Riemer said based on her experience, her opinion is that the entrance wound was through the shoulder. She said someone may disagree with her. Doesn't mean it changes the truth

Only thing I can think of is Elick is going to get on the stand and say he took the guns to cover up for Paul, and like the best dad in the whole world, he took the hit for the crime

Yup.

And in AM's 2nd interview with SLED he said Maggie and Buster went to a ballgame on Sunday. But he couldn't remember what he himself did on the weekend. Not a lot of 'together time'.

I wondered the same thing. If she didn’t like going to the kennels at night, she sure as heck isn’t going to drive alone that late at night on the backroads between Moselle and Edisto.
I think she got up early Monday morning, earlier than AM anyway, and drove to Edisto, planning on supervising the work on the house there, going to her doctor’s appointment, then returning to Edisto to stay for a few weeks. AM of course convinced her to come back to Moselle.
Just my thoughts.

I think this is their only hope but remember that AM said in his interview's that "they/I did him so bad". This suicide theory is their hail Mary. JMO

Yes and if PM still had his wit's about him, sad to say he would have seen the weapon pointed at him and make an effort to protect one of his vital organs, his head as he stumbled or fell forward to the point where he was found. Another thing may be PM was stumbling forward and his head just happen to be in the position when the second shot hit him in the head.
