I love how sweetly MM’s sister drops some key evidence phrases …. so innocently, but I believe the comments will be helpful to the prosecution.
I think these will be key!

1. Alex did want her to come there that night to go see his mom.
2. Alex didn't mention being afraid of anyone after the murders.. never discussed who he thought could have done it, his main concern was clearing Paul's name, but that was odd because sister's main concern was figuring out who killed her sister and nephew.

AM wanting to clear PM name after the murders doesn't really surprise me all that much - moo. I think that that was one of the motives for the killing in the first place. AM reputation and name was beginning to come under fire but, so far, had just been contained to the law firm but that was going to change and soon because the hearing for the boat wreck was coming and he would be compelled to reveal his monitary issues.
The Murdaugh name was a powerful key that opened all sorts of doors for him and without that name, he was basically nothing.
By killing MM and PM he would buy himself time to try to bury the money issues, possibly not have a hearing about the wreck all together and be able to sell property without MM standing in his way.
All MOO, of course.

For AM tell MM's sister that he didn't know who did it but assumed they had been planning it for awhile, ok he got a crystal ball. They were all scared as well after except AM hmmm
Yes. AM was the only person in the world without an ounce of prudent feelings others felt including the extended family and members of the law firm -- all fearful for their safety. MOO

Listening to the Law and Crime talkers- they seem to have such a different view than we all have imo. They are portraying that the Prosecution has not delivered on AM being the shooter at all and that they cannot understand the financial angle at all. Are we the crazy people? I wonder what the jury thinks?
I think they "talk" for a more spectacular viewing of guests.

We know that about $2.3M of his stolen funds went to Cousin Eddie (CSmith), and many, many cash draws to AM personally.

Personally, I've never believed the money blown on opioids ($$$ sufficient to kill a herd of elephants) so that leaves either some serious gambling or AM was being blackmailed over something more important to him than his family. JMO
Blackmail or offshore accounts.

Or we could look at the tactic AM used during his fake suicide/murder to take the heat off himself once again. More deaths would again divert attention from him to looking for a posse of killers running amok on the property.

Did he instruct his cousin to safely shoot him in his head? Maybe he wanted to kill himself and didn't have the balls to do it himself. I mean, getting shot at doesn't really leave much room for error.

Glad JG is done…I was tired of hearing his pretend to be compassionate voice to Maggie’s sister.

They know each other so I would imagine this is probably a tough rope to walk for him in my opinion

Excellent explanation, I was thinking the same thing and he was irritating me!

Another witness to AM having a gun in his car. Why'd he need to go to the house for a weapon the night of the murders?

The low between 6pm and 12 am was 79 degrees. You don’t need light to evaporate water (for instance, your clothes dryer is dark); you need heat. And there was plenty.

Listening to Maggie's sister just hammers home how senseless this all was. A truly innocent woman murdered for what? Even Paul with the boat crash hanging over his head was in no way deserving of being murdered. They were loved.

And then we hear that Maggie told her sister Alex called her to come to the house because his dad was not doing well and that Paul was going to be coming as well. Her understanding was that they were going to visit Alex father.
BBM
Here it is: AM requested MM and PM to come...

Think he planned to have a mystery shooter as he would explain it come by and shoot at him. But in AM's scattered thought process went with the suicide with just a grazing shot to the head along with not having the berries to put one into the brain pan and just end it there instead of the tragedy we are seeing unfold today.
