The evidence in Patrick Frazee's case was a lot different then the evidence for murder here. I mean, he sent someone there to clean up a murder scene who testified and the scientific evidence was all right there.
Yes, but the subject matter was the fact that it was all "circumstantial. "

Haha that defense was quick to get her off the stand now weren't they? What's the matter? Don't want to open any more doors?
I'm just wondering what else JG spoke to MP about during that phone call and if there are any more calls from JG to MP re what was happening or going to happen with AM. i.e. arrest for insurance fraud, false police report, etc. She surely put him on the spot when she said he called her and told her AM had been fired. jmo

I am confused about something, I was listening in my car and may have missed the details. Question is, didn't the financial auditor say there was no life insurance on any of the M's and didn't DH say to the Judge this afternoon that AM hired CS to shoot him to try and collect 7mm in life insurance for his son? Sorry for the run on sentence.

So was the "family man" case that I was on the jury for!. Not one sign of anger, family violence until the day he took a 45cal. pistol and killed his wife and son. The pistol wasn't found until after the verdict, guilty due to all the plain as day bread crumbs and a pic of him leaving the scene minutes after the crime. The pistol was finally found by a neighbor cleaning their KOI pond after the trail was finished.

I'm not saying it's not possible but I think generally speaking, you can look back and go, oh I can see that

Agree sadly. The GM witness will be interesting.
GM official (Devin Newell) was the second witness today -- followed the cross-examination of the pathologist.

He provided a disk that was admitted into evidence.

Newell testifies data salvaged includes vehicle diagnostics, battery systems, speed information and GPS location info. The disc containing all that data has been entered into evidence. No questions right now from John Conrad with the state. Phil Barber with the Defense now cross examining.

It All goes to Character. Stealing Monies from Multiple Entities and People also goes to No Morals/No Ethics at all! Not Murder, but a whole lotta other Crap. Who knows what drives a person to Kill?! Just Tragic:(

Not reaching but relevant....

Alex falsely describing his 'shooter' as a 'younger white fella with really short hair' after his botched assisted suicide attempt....

A liar is a liar is a liar...
Stealing and embezzling money or trying to hijack an insurance claim after a faked flat tire shows his true nature and his truecolors.

He was caught lying to 911...

He is deceptive, fraudulent, devious, crooked, deceitful and a killer. MOO

This was likely an attempt to make it appear the same person that killed Maggie and Paul (maybe a younger person with an ax to grind over the boat crash) was after him as well. This is not the actions of an innocent man. This happening 3 months after his family is murdered IS relevant to this case. I am not sure how it could be seen as unrelated. Now we know he hired someone to kill him.. okay how is that also not something that would be connected. There are no coincidences like this.

Yes. I think MP learned a lot more from JG than just things connected to the roadside shooting.

So sad for MM's sister, as I have read that her family and AM younger brother, not in Law, are friendly. The families have been intertwined for many years, celebrating family holidays together...so very sad for all...Unimaginable for most. MOO

You can list them til the cows come home.

This prosecution has no hard evidence proving he did this and that's why they want all of the other issues brought in, including an affair that happened 15 years ago and the side of the road shooting for cause of motive AFTER the murders took place.

It makes the final outcome of this trial more susceptible to an appeal.

I do have to say that I am having a difference opinion of Paul after hearing testimony from friends, young men and adults and sounds like he was a good kid and friend. Attentive to others needs.
Alcohol was his down fall.

Jmo
Agreed. I've seen alcohol ruin many lives (adult lives and families).

He was a young man and look who he may have learned his behavior from... none other than AM (:rolleyes:).

I try to give someone the benefit of the doubt... and/or root for the underdog (though he wasn't).

You keep harping on this whole affair thing. It wasn't admitted. Nothing to see here.

The side of the road shooting is very relevant to this case. It shows how depraved and desperate he was. It also shows how he has no problem lying to police officers. Because of that anything and everything that comes out of Alex's mouth is suspect. Therefore everything he told police about the the murders of his wife and son is suspect. It shows a clear pattern of deceit and speaks to his character, which by the way, the defense has been trying to hammer into the jury. They are the ones who brought his character front and center to this case! They left the door wide open for the prosecution to question his character. It all should be admissible. And it has been.
