DH does this with everything. All the jumble then “you would agree with me…”
It’s ridiculous but it’s his strategy.
By the end of this he will have that tape measure going every which way, trying to get the shot placements where he wants them, it's tragic to watch him trying to sway things even by inches.

DH he loves to ask a question that can’t be answered and then he says “it’s possible that it could be”

Maybe that is why AM turned/lifted Paul’s body, looking for shot shells when phone feel ouf?
I think Alex was searching for Paul's phone so he could get a look at the video that Paul took. He didn't have Paul's passcode IMO so he just put it back. He called Paul's friend Rogan several times after the murders, which makes no sense. His son and wife are brutally murdered, but yet he continued to try and get in touch with him.

Paul's video sunk Alex's alibi and exposed the lies he told many times that he didn't go to the kennels at all.

MOO

Nerves, shaking may have played a part. A hunter member here said there is an actual term for this possibility...
I am guessing here, but I don't think he planned for Paul's brain to be shot out of his head. I'd think seeing that would be very different than how he planned it in his mind and after that getting a super accurate shot in would be more difficult than if he were just out hunting something he should legally be allowed to shoot.

DH's examination is painful, cringeworthy and frustrating. This should be his last trial if he has an ounce of pride in his past accomplishments. MOO

DH he loves to ask a question that can’t be answered and then he says “it’s possible that it could be”
And "you would agree with me', when clearly the person isn't. MOO

The witness never said the phone exploded out of PM's pocket. Harpo finds it so easy to put words into other"'s mouths

And it is this line of questioning that really makes me angry when the defense has the nerve to make jokes about how long the trial is taking....

But, DH, please keep showing the jury your ignorance next to the expert. You are doing an excellent job.

It's a habit of his to try and endear himself to the jury. He does it a lot.

If I was a juror I’d be sick of him! ugh
I agree but he isn’t the only making some potentially witty comments either. State prosecutor said even today he needs to go to the chiropractor after getting up from laying down flat on the floor, seemingly in an off-handed remark. Though I imagine some jurors may view both of their comments differently. JMOO.

I honestly don't think AM knew about the video. IMO, AM moved PM's phone around 10:18 pm while he was on the phone with 911, and saw that Rogan had sent a text, and that is the ONLY reason he was trying to call Rogan. IMO, AM wanted to know what Rogan knew.... as in.... if AM had been with PM at certain times, etc.... IMO, if the female PM had been texting with had sent a message that showed on the phone, AM would have been calling her to gauge her knowledge...

All JMO.

The defence is trying to convince the jury that this testimony is too complicated for them to understand, so they should ignore it.
I think the only one that doesn't understand this is the defense. He admits he hadn't used a protractor in 50 years until this week he's used it twice. So the expert that likely uses a protractor weekly doesn't know what he's talking about? The defense is arguing over a few inches either way and seriously he's questioning Paul's height and then the witness has to say well the top of his head was missing to the ME might not be able to accurately measure. Also I bet Paul's license height was from 16 when he would have gotten a license.. plenty of boys grow another few inches after 16. I don't see that Paul being another inch taller or the gun being another few inches closer making it any more likely that Paul can hold a shotgun and shoot himself twice.. not once, but 2X. This guy needs to let the expert be the expert and he can sit down because he sounds like he's grasping and I'm sure the jury is snoozing.
