He uses his hands to check body temperature because "thermometers are not always accurate".... okaaayyyy....

Harvey says they could have been killed at 8pm, 10pm....or anytime in between. Without witnesses to the murders he can only estimate.

Harvey says the 9pm time of death was an estimation.

Fat finger dialing....is the defense implication going to be AM could not have pulled the trigger because his fingers were too fat to fit?
Shhh the defense may hear you hehe

That witness was a nothing burger. Inauspicious start for the Defense. JMO.

Did the defense really call the coroner? Opened their case in chief with time of death that matches the state's theory?

Watch DH change his attitude towards his witnesses…

He CAN be nice when he wants to…just a phoney nice imo

Good to see you here @Love Never Fails. :)

I think AM has narc qualities similar to Salida's BM where a narc only needs one child as that extension of themself and any additional child is just a spare-- easy collateral. I don't doubt that PM was closer to his mom in the way MM2 was closer to SM. Here, according to AM, PM was the irresponsible, costly child whereas the firstborn was being raised in AM's image. MOO
Having a senior moment here-- MM2? and SM?

There was one witness.

His GPS confirms it.

Not smart, Alec. (See what I did there?)

The best question to date:

DH: Do you carry a rectal thermometer?

Coroner: no I borrow one from the EMTs.
Goodness, didn’t see this! Are you for real?

A description of what a directed verdict is:

Under the circumstances, this seems like really poor timing for that.
Just after prosecution rests is the proper time. Directed verdict would be appropriate if a prosecution (not this one) failed to introduce evidence to prove any of the elements of the crime (e.g. the intent element). If one didn’t then judicial time would be wasted putting on a defense.

The clicking of her tongue while she's reading the statement is like nails on a chalkboard...MOO!

That’s from the Suzanne Morphew case. MM2 is the youngest daughter. SM was Suzanne.
