Most importantly, these people were/are vulnerable and trusted someone hired to look out for their best interests. AM had superior knowledge and training to perform his duties and he blames everything on an oxycodone addiction. Nothing is ever his fault. His words ring hollow to me. What he put those people through is unforgivable. I'm sure that on top of pain and suffering, there was insurmountable debt piling up on each client. He’s admitting that his relationship to his victims - and all that that relationship would and should normally mean to most human beings - was no protection to them.
