Wonder what that was about?
Yeah, what was that about? Did anyone hear what the officer shouted out before he went up to talk to the judge?

He left the phone at the house so he couldn't be tracked to the kennels at all. He denied being there until Paul's video was discovered.
I thought he said it again when they spoke of him arriving back after Almeida and he was back tracking about the 911 call. I may have been mistaken

I can see why Maggie preferred to stay at Edisto.. can you imagine being married to this man?

I think her sons got on with life and were not living there full time, just popping in at times.. she was stuck with this lying, manipulative, drug addict, and I do think she was done. I think that she found his pills AGAIN in May and I do think he was worried about that boat case... you know his paranoid way of thinking..

She was done. He might sound good like he says the right things, but this man is incapable of being sorry or feeling sorry for anyone but himself. She was done with his bullcrap and I think she told him that. I wonder in the past if she said you need to stop this drug stuff or I am gone. Maybe she didn't tell Blanca that or her sister because maybe she didn't tell anyone that he had been on drugs.

Nothing is more dangerous than confronting a narcissist drug addict that you are leaving him.

SO help me please - I can't listen right now - did he say he checked them prior to calling 911 in the onterview or not?
Nope, checked them first, then called BUT according to AM now that may have been wrong...ya know give the guy a break, he had a pocketful of pills

Yeah but he was buds with them all...off the record
He was not buds with SLED - he was buds with Colleton County agents, right? That is why SLED was called in?

This is hard for me to watch. I want Waters to pull out a dry erase board that has every event AM has lied about listed on it. And I want Cw to say each item and write LIE in red on top of each line item until he gets to:
I was not at the kennels (play the video)
I did not kill Paul and Maggie

say it out loud...write over it in red

and then bring that dang board right back out for closing arguments later.

Make the facts visual, make it audible, put it in writing.

He is making the right points but it needs to be put in visual context. I agree with you and hope that he does this.

Connect the dots across the board in all forms, especially visually. The attention span factor is a real thing for every person.

Yeah let me call Ro Ro, he's close by, he can come over and see his best friend's brain laying on the concrete...evil
IMO
Of course a man evil enough to try to pin his own son's alleged crimes (DWI resulting in death and 2 of DWI resulting in serious injury) upon one of his son's best friends (Conor Cook) wouldn't lure one of his son's other friends ("Ro Ro") to the scene so as to pin his own crime upon him.

He said everyone didn't need to leave the room, yet.

I disagree, it's his rambling that highlights it all, IMO
I think AM likes to ramble but if the attorney shut him down, you would see his anger and frustration come out.

Did they pat him down? They would have asked him about a pocket full of drugs.
Paul never was hancuffed or spent a night in jail when arrested. LE took his mug shot in the hallway of the courthouse. The Murdaugh's were treated deferentially.

Court TV's Matt Johnson is reporting AM is sitting 6 feet from the jurors and 2 jurors (female) reached for a tissue and were crying when AM talked about PM.

Bad sign when a murderer gets on the stand and makes a couple of women cry.

Depends. If a Juror gave him a tissue box yesterday, it makes me think that person favors him, But From my personal experience, my Mother being murdered, when the Jury came back with the Verdict, they All were crying.
OTOH, he is an expert at reading and Playing he Jury, so who knows if they are empathizing with his BS, or because they have a child themselves, and the details break their hearts. I'm glad there is much more to come before deliberations begin.

Exactly what I believe he was going for.

Oh there were sheriff's guys there and Solisitor's guys there and then the SLED guys showed up and some of the SLED were were probably former locals moved on. I believe a couple testified to that. Also the Murdaughs were a force in more than one county for a long long time. I'm sure everyone hob nob around, AJMO

Exactly! If he had a pocket full of Pills, where did they go? They were not formally accounted for, even though the took his clothing. Did he dispose of them while he was undressing? In my view, they did not monitor him enough...

I've seen the anger and arrogance come through lots
