@Diddian No, but you’ve got part of it straight. It’s confusing. Here’s what JMM said:

1. RM got an unscheduled Dr appt for Handsome (RM3=“H”), needed JMM to meet him 1/2 way to get H to Savannah
2. RM picked H up at Almeda. Drove him in Miss Libby’s car 1/2 way.
3. JMM took H to Dr in Savannah in Miss Libby’s car
4. RM drove JMM’s truck back to Almeda
5. H admitted to hospital. JMM drove Miss Libby’s car home to Okatie. Paul, who worked at Okatie with JMM, was asked to drive Miss Libby’s car back to Almeda, and to then drive JMMs truck back to Okatie when he, Paul, came to work the next day.
6. Paul drove Miss Libby’s car to Almeda, then took JMM’s truck to Moselle.
7. JMM received call about murders. All he had was Paul’s “hunk of junk” farm truck.
8. JMM got in farm truck. He was concerned about the truck making it to Moselle, so he called Greg Alexander (Yemassee police chief, a friend), and asked for an “escort” to Moselle in case of a breakdown. GA agreed.
9. In Varnville, GA passed JMM. But then the farm truck broke down. JMM called GA and said “turn around and come get me” (in Varnville).
10. GA does and they proceed to Moselle.

Is that clear? (Ha!)

Wow, now that I have thought about it, it’s hinky as heck!! I think this implies how the evidence AM disposed of was done (AM was in Varnville/Almeda between 9:22 - 9:43, and IIRC, Onstar data showed he paused near the train tracks in front of Almeda for a few minutes).

But why would the DEFENSE bring it up unless it’s preemptive because they think CW has something about this in rebuttal?

And remember, during this logistical nightmare testimony, Griffin asked JMM: “Did you see any guns in the farm truck?” Why did he ask him that Q?

I need a secret decoder ring! Does anyone else find this awfully unusual?

Most of that stuff was done before the murders but do I believe during that minute pause on the Almeda entrance road somethings were removed and hidden, then pick up by someone who took a ride and threw it in a far away swamp somewhere...yep, I do believe that's what happened. AJMO

I'm thinking it's this sex worker

I don’t know if they can actually demand it but seems like if she was on the witness list, she would not, should not be giving interviews.

Thoughts on why they had Alex testify between the expert witnesses? It seems like it would be more cohesive having all the forensics together, three different type of experts that are complementing, supporting each other’s testimony. From what I heard today, some of it seemed to contradict the 5’2” shooter theory they presented last week regarding angles of the wounds
Contradictions, now why doesn't that surprise?

Interesting thoughts. We only have AM's testimony that the dogs did not bark, that no on else was there when he was. A hired hitman would probably have gotten the 'job' done cleaner though, and from my Criminal Justice studies, knowing common behaviors for certain types of killings, I am positive AM killed Maggie himself, as her murder was full of Rage. To shoot her that many times indicates Hate/Rage/Vengeance. If someone else fits that... Appearances are often deceiving, and though people said they had a loving relationship is questionable, as people put on a Face in Public that does not always exist in private. MOO
Alex said something like “there wasn’t anyone there the dogs didn’t know.”

So that does make me wonder about other friends, relatives, employees, etc. And if the dogs did bark and he had hired someone to do this, he is not going to let us know the dogs barked.

Interesting for sure, but if the family had not backed AM and let him possibly be convicted of murder and theft, perhaps they could have wiped the slate clean and from this day forward lived as an honest family in the future. I suppose they Never considered that. Someone in the family could have written a book about the stained Murdaugh Dynasty, putting all the shame behind them. Bye bye PM, bye bye AM and the previous skeletons in the closet, we are now going to show the world we have integrity. I guess it’s not possible for a highly dysfunctional family to do that though.
agreed and it's all shadows and the dust of the family bones now.

Oh yeah there was a BOMBSHELL alright! A number 2 bombshell dropped by the defendant on his way to rehab. It was not pretty!

I am guessing more like bird shot or turkey shot or a combo.

She gave the interview a while ago and then disappeared, AFAIK. Not dead-disappeared, left-town disappeared. JMO

He sat there almost every day of the trial, and like Alex, he was able to try to fit his testimony to the previous testimony.
Had his cheat sheet play out right in front of him for sure.

People are discussing possible infidelity testimony. Do we think it was MM or AM who had an affair or something like that?

Seems like it is AM. Does Bachelor Party count as infidelity?

It's just odd that she never saw it so where did it go? If he showered before dinner and those clothes were in his bedroom then where did they go? Kakhis were found on the bathroom floor with a wet towel. No shirt. So he took a dirty shirt with him after the murders? I can't imagine Buster packed a dirty shirt from the floor for his dad (he didn't testify he did either, just grabbed shorts and tshirts from the closet).. so Blanca comes the next day and finds the pants and wet towel and not shirt. IT doesn't make sense that it would be anywhere else and if Blanca did laundry she would be the one to see it unless for some reason Alex took the dirty shirt with him that night.
Blanca said he had several pair of khaki pants and I suspect the pants and damp towel were intentionally left on the floor and he forgot to put a shirt with the pants. I noticed no mention of underwear being left with the pants. Maybe he doesn't wear underwear or maybe he showers and then puts his dirty undies back on...IDK. I don't believe he showered at the house before going to the kennel. IMO, showering and changing into the shorts and t-shirt is just another fabrication.

Found the replay. 6:54 timestamp. JMM met Randy halfway and drove the senior father to the appt in the mothers car and Randy drove JMMs truck back. So JMM did not drive the senior Murdaugh in the farm truck to the appt.

Either way the story makes no sense. If he didn't drive his father in an old truck, he drove himself in an old truck and risked making his father miss a critical appointment, or his brother missing whatever it was that he needed to get back for. I guess it's possible, but it sounds like malarkey. JMO.

I remember that in one of the documentaries one of Paul's friends said the small plane was for strippers and booze, etc. But then the friend stated that PM was probably lying so.... Maybe he wasn't.

They are missing. His housekeeper, who did his laundry, said she never saw them (or the shoes he was wearing) again.
So, what is AMs explanation for missing clothes?

I think he just believed it wasn't an issue. He didn't know Ms Shelly was going to tell anyone about it. He wasn't thinking it was suspicious and he likely wasn't thinking about GSR on it so he just put it in the closet or wherever and thought nobody is even going to look here at my parents house.
I think he only needed a temporary place to stash them -- he knew that they wouldn't search his parents' house right away, if they ever did search it. That bought him some time to figure out a good hiding place, whether that was throwing them in one of the nearby creeks or rivers, burying them, throwing them in dumpsters, stashing them in the woods... they could have been put anywhere. Alex and his enablers had a lot of time. JMO

I would bet my left shoe that AM had plenty of affairs, probably even some sexual harassment against female workers at the firm. And MM just ignored it, like all good wives. I doubt MM cheated on AM. He would have dumped her in a heartbeat. She had her credit card, and knew who paid the bills. Which was rapidly unraveling. And why she was talking to a divorce lawyer.

The whole “the trees have grown since then” is odd. No one has said that a shooter hid behind trees or that one escaped through a forest of narrow trees or anything other than the dogs running to a treed area to do their business And some fruit trees that were leaning over. A weak attempt on the prosecutor’s side to prevent the trip unless I missed something about the trees.
With the trees smaller and shorter at the time of the murders the sound would travel further, not get scattered and muffled in the trees. AM could see perfectly down to the kennels with the hanger lights on as well.

WAIT a minute...

The place the truck broke down is Varnville and that is where Almeda is? I'm going to have to pull up a map and look at this now. I was already thinking it sounded really iffy.. AND the police chief that was paid money after this passed him and then had to come back.. geez wonder if he was retrieving anything?

Any time I've had someone follow me to make sure I get somewhere, they are behind me you know so they see if I don't make it and they can stop.
