Yes. There are two witnesses who said they were fighting.
Link? That says specifically they were "fighting"?

I agree in fact there was no bench warrant for his arrest over child support issues.

Fleeing and attempting to elude a LEO is automatically a felony in all 50 states.
What is Resisting Arrest?
Resisting arrest occurs when a person interferes with a law enforcement officer’s attempt to perform a lawful arrest. Some states call the crime “obstruction.” The crime can be a felony or a misdemeanor, depending on the severity of the actions of the person being arrested.
Misdemeanor resisting arrest (or misdemeanor obstruction) can include actions such as running and hiding from a law enforcement officer. Felony resisting arrest usually requires that a person either act violently toward the arresting officer or threaten to act violently.

This stuff is interesting! SC still has statutes that require hard labor!

Taxpayers do get reimbursed! I personally know people who have repaid! and it's not just men, but also women. My friend's daughter got caught not reporting child support, (while on welfare), and yes, when she was caught, she had to pay it back out of her own pocket. mooNo mother with dependent children is allowed to collect government assistance for the child unless there is a child support order. If the father is a dead beat, then taxpayers provide a stipend for the mother and the state goes after the dad for the money. Do taxpayers ever get reimbursed? Nah.

What else would they be doing on the ground?
Scott attempting to get away and Slager attempting to apprehend. That's not necessarily "fighting" which implies intentional violence against the former officer.
I don't believe Scott was running away over any child support issue. I think he was running away because he knew he had committed a much more serious crime.

Even if MSM doesn't supply the information, why didn't any of the police incident reports mention it? The police reports are linked upthread. Not one officer on the scene wrote a single word about Slager being tased. Not one.
Maybe it doesn't fit MSM's narrative but why then would it not fit the narrative of the other officers at the scene?
What else would they be doing on the ground?
Link to support your fairy tale that Slager was assaulted?
do you have a link to what Slager does previously to ppl w taillight issues?I understand this is your opinion, but is there a reason you don't like Mr. Scott to just make the assumption that he must have committed something much more serious?
How about this. Maybe the reason Scott ran is because he was familiar with Slager and what he does to people after pulling them over for a taillight?
do you have a link to what Slager does previously to ppl w taillight issues?

So your answer is - I don't have a link that says that. I just made it up.
I dunno about that, but he likes to use his taser on people anyway even after they follow his instructions...

"In a different case, Slager is accused of using excessive force during an August 2014 traffic stop in North Charleston in a lawsuit filed April 10 by Julius Wilson. Wilson was stopped for driving with a broken taillight, the same offense Scott was pulled over for the day he died."
"Wilson says Slager and two other officers pulled him from his vehicle, restrained him face-down on the pavement and Slager fired a stun gun into his back."
Do you have a link? I would like to read. I tried a quick google and they didn't come up easily, but I can hunt if you don't know exactly where they are.
