Will we be given a definitive "yes" or "no"? I can wait for other details (perhaps not patiently, but I can wait!).

It may come in the form of a "Zodiac Killer-like" cipher that you all need to decode. Okay, maybe not....LOL!

I doubt that we will be able to give you a definitive answer if the answer is "yes" right away for security reasons. A "no" will probably be able to be announced right away after all of the principals are informed. So...no news may be good news.

I would check into this further. I know that there used to be ways to donale airline miles to soldiers.

Also, I exchanged my miles for a gift certificate from the site points.com. I doubt that any site would buy the miles if they couldn't do anything with them.

Always keeping in mind- What would help 'C' I would expect.

With that in mind, I had a suggestion. It can be hard for any person to enter a family they are unfamiliar with (think a serious relationship, going to the first family get together and not knowing anyone else.)

I was thinking maybe an album with pictures of principals she will get to know. Not so much an album of 'here is what the family has done that you have missed' but more an album of 'here is who you will be meeting'. The pictures of the persons with a brief bio of the persons. Their age, what they do, children, how they are connected, any other important facts and maybe even a personal note from the ones you can. That way when the reunion comes, she will be meeting people she already knows something about- not strangers. It might help keep it from being so overwhelming. And when someone's name gets mentioned, she will have some idea who it is.

That's right, When I found this Girl several months ago and posted her pic, a few people saw a resemblance, but was dismissed by the majority. Though I still haven't been able to set it aside, and am still hooked on the Peoples Temple for the various reasons I've mentioned before. That quote was from Georgiann Brady in a late 73 or early 74 transcript of a sermon in SF. She states she's from Redwood Valley. Interestingly, she is at this service by herself. (without her mom, or aunts, uncle...according to the names of people listed as attending). Since the above quote was spoken in front of many people by a little girl with out her parents by her side (approx 7yrs old going by listed birth date) I can see why she might be nervous and stutter when a person normally wouldn't. I have researched this family extensively and found many interesting things about them. The Uncle...was a con man with homosexual tendencies in CA before he went to Jonestown with his 4 sisters and their (?) children, (no husbands went). According to a testimony he gave on another transcript, he was addicted to pain medication and had a few Doctors in the SF area that he could regularly con out of pain medication prescriptions. I finally got in contact with a Jonestown survivor, who seems to vaguely remember this girl. She has contact with several other survivors who she is talking with trying to reveal more information. I could go on for days, but it's really a moot point until we know the DNA results...
 
I just received a phone call from the detective and he has reassured me that he will be contacting the DOJ right away to try and move this along. He is a great guy and is completely understanding of the situation of the principals involved.

It is our hope that we will have answers no later than the end of next week.
 
With an account like Capital One I can "purchase" the tickets for anyone I like. The person who uses the tickets has to match the name on the tickets. With the Delta account your relative could have used his miles to purchase a ticket for you while he was living. But, the miles had no value to anyone other than him so you can't use them after his death. For example -- this past summer I purchased 3 tickets with my United Miles -- for myself, my daughter and my husband. My husband and daughter have a different last name. I can cash in those miles for tickets but once the tickets are issued in a specific name that person must use the ticket. Hopefully, that makes sense to you. So, this is very possible and I have in the past "donated" miles to organizations by just getting the ticket issued in the right name for the person who is going to use it. Most people collect travel miles so they can vacation with their family. Many people would not be interested if they could only use them for themselves.
 
How about Doogie trying to post something to this thread each day and if we don't hear from you for like 5 days, we will know it's a YES?

I hope this turns out to be good news.
 
Mysteriew, I think that is a great idea, hopefully Annasmom will too. I found out that I had 10 half brothers and sisters after having thought I was an only child and was quite overwhelmed. It would have been nice before meeting "all" of them to have had a chance to get a feel for them so to speak.
 
It's my thought, that LE would have everything they need in order, before releasing any results. I assume that's part of the process before revealing information to even the principals. My guess is that information would have been collected from principals at the same time blood or saliva was collected. (Whichever method used). I could be wrong, but that's my guess and possibly the reason for the current wait.

Great idea's about the pictures-album and the miles.

About 'C', I awake at night, concerned for her safety since we do not know the details regarding how she ended up where she is, and IF IF IF, she is Anna, she could need to be protected by all involved, depending on the past circumstances.
There is nothing more important at this point, than the well being of "C" to all of us!
Thanks Doogie, for the walrus, it will keep us entertaining thoughts that are pretty far-fetched, I am sure! LOL

We do not have any results yet or any hints as to what the results will be. Hopefully soon, I will not be able to make that statement.

BTW: Paul is a dead man. Miss him.

(If anyone out there is too young to understand my "cryptic" messages, ask your parents about them - LOL!) :crazy:

All I can say is I am too OLD TO miss that cryptic message! LOL...coo coo KA CHOOOO!
good message! Playing it now...There is quite an interest in the band these days, my teenagers listen to them, which makes me a happy mom!
SOrry, that thing about cryptic messages was about the 'WALRUS" not about Anna, I didn't mean for that to be misinterpreted...my apologies
