To be honest IF Shawn did anything to Hailey and Billie knows and is sticking by him instead of going to the police..then really shes no better than Shawn at all. Hailey is her daughter..and Billie should be putting HER first and NOT the "awesome" boyfriend. Billie telling the investigators where Hailey is is the last decent thing you can ever do for your daughter..so why not do it? Forget about Shawn. Think of Hailey!

I totally agree with you FTK. I'm starting to see the light on her. After all this stuff with the child porn and the mess that took place last week I really think she knows what happened and is covering for her boyfriend.

I am growing concerned about the child porn issue in general. Reading the SWA there seems to be some question as if it was a child or not. A person into child porn would have MASSIVE amounts of it. It's not "iffy" Not 1-3 photo's. Perhaps it was something like those young appearing 18 year old dressed up in a school girl outfits?

IMO The bulk of what he had on his computer would be what he was "into" and it seems to me the bulk of what he's into is legal. ( As disgusting as I think it is)

I am also thinking that of the approx 108000 porn images found on the mother's computer, not very many of those images was illegal CP. Glad they were at least able to use what they did find to obtain the search warrants for the grandmother's place.

Personally I think that SA did have his own laptop computer for his "hobby" and that it, along with any flashdrives/memory cards have long been destroyed and/or discarded.

It's just too odd that from the beginning it has been stated numerous times by BD and her "friends" that neither BD or SA had a computer or any access to the internet after finding out how much SA seemed to enjoy his computer time.

I'm thinking that he downloaded most of the porn at his mother's while he was living there during the time they were broken up or even during the years he was living with his mother prior to his relationship with BD. That might have been the only computer he really had access to for some time. And perhaps he did get a laptop of his own at some point so he downloaded the pictures to the memory sticks and deleted them off his mother's computer. He may have then uploaded them to his own computer and kept the flashdrives for a second copy.

I think there is another laptop that belongs to SA out there somewhere.

The image of a child, in question came from Shawn's email account.
It appears that the image of CP found on gma's computer is very similar to at least one image of CP found on Mom's computer.
So it sounds like there is more than one CP image, between the 2 computers, but there might be the same image on both computers that Shawn has access to.
I hope that makes sense.

I am just guessing ....someone who spends as much time looking at porn as Shawn does ( every free second of his day) could inadvertently stumble upon a pic or two of CP.

When I was following The Michael Jackson trial I was looking up the books and magazines he owned, I literally fell into a file sharing area that I suspect was child porn. I didn't click anything, I was FREAKED out and reported the link to the FBI.

I've innocently looked up something and stumbled into a horrific DEVIANT pornography. and I have parental controls set up!

It was also determined that an additional memory stick and a camera have at some time been connected to Gma's computer, that has already been searched.
3 other devices have at some time been connected to the computer, that can't be determined what they are, but they have ID codes for them.
No where is it mentioned that 5 additional memory sticks have been connected to Gma's computer, just 1.
But we don't know if there were memory sticks connected to Shawn's mother's computer, we need that other darn affidavit.

BBM-I too find this very odd. His "hobby" requires one. I suspect that when LE was searching the landfill a computer was on the "try to find list". For the life of me I don't know why Colorado City Lake has not been searched, one for Hailey and the other for a computer.

And let's talk about what we've been led to believe.. namely just as you mentioned LE made direct statements to the media{therefor to us the public}that there was in fact child pornography and beastiality on the memory stick taken from Billie's bedroom..We now read today that is FALSE..

In fact we also read today and find that actually there seems to be a question as to whether or not this child pornography is even "child" pornography..Especially when he gets specific stating that the ONE PHOTO FOUND ON GRANDMA'S COMPUTER IS SIMILAR TO ONE ON MOM"S COMPUTER IN BIG SPRING..AND IT IS NOT EVEN FOR SURE A MINOR THAT IS IN THE ONE PHOTO..AGAIN THE ONE PHOTO SEEMS TO BE THE SAME AS THE PHOTO ON MOM"S COMPUTER>>THAT EQUALS ONE PHOTO>>>ONE PHOTO THAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE A MINOR!!!!!

I am disgusted with this and not in the way that I expected that I would be when the affidavits were released..but in a way that IMO Shawn Adkins as far as CP is concerned has been grossly inaccurate in the press by LE..and they should be concerned IMO about a real quick..slam dunk slander lawsuit..

YES 1 IMAGE IS WAY TOO MUCH! BUT IT CERTAINLY READS AS THOUGH FROM THAT AFFIDAVIT THAT IT IS UNCERTAIN TO EVEN BE CHILD PORN..IF THE AGE IS QUESTIONABLE..IT EASILY COULD BE ON A TEEN PORN SITE IS WHAT I AM SAYING..THEREFOR THE PERSON VIEWING THE PORN BEL;IEVES THAT ALL ON THE SITE ARE OF AGE..i JUST AM VERY UPSET ABOUT THIS..I AM RELIEVED IN A WAY BECAUSE I KNOW THIS MAN IS NOT DEALING cp..HE'S NOT ADDICTED TO IT..I just am holding all judgements until this LE is clear on what the he!! is even on the devices!

I wonder if he was clueless enough to pawn off a laptop he used to view any CP? I'm convinced he has files somewhere and obviously needed something to view it. What about the old xbox? Any old phones?

Smooth, I too was surprised by what seemed to be the lack of certainty and low volume of child pornography, based on the wording of the affidavit. It may be that we were misled just days before the 911 trafficking convention when the pornographic deviancy was revealed to the public. But, imo, there's as good a chance that LE simply revealed as little as possible to secure a search warrant (being that this is a high profile case and possibly very near the point of filing charges; keeping it close to the vest). I'm choosing to believe the latter right now, but I share your worry that it may be the former. We shall see (soon, I hope).

P.s. Also think there may be boatloads of porn with teenagers and LE is racing to prove reasonably that none of those depicted could be of legal age to consent. It's time consuming investigative work to track down individuals in an underground industry, but must be done (and discreetly) before charges are filed or reasonable doubt will be pervasive, imo. JMO...

Tons and tons of deviant porn Willen; we're just not sure how much of it is illegal at this point. Whether it's because LE isn't yet sure or they just don't want it public at this time is debatable... Inquiring minds want to know!
