Yes there is a creek that borders the east section of the woods.

Are you referring to the dogs?
If so, can you give some specifics? Who was handling the dogs, what type of dogs, what type of collar/harness, leash? What were the handlers wearing? Trying to figure out what type of dogs they are using and who they may be affiliated with.

Or.... if someone has pix, well that would make it a lot easier, lol.

is anyone watching live stream? I havent been able to. My computer is being crazy. I read (someplace else) that they blacked out live stream and scanner? Anyone ? This computer prob is driving me batty

Yes! all live streams are down and i saw where scanners were blocked. no confirmation from news stations. SO RUMOR but very interesting!!!!!! moo

I can't really answer any of that because they were barely in my site. Appeared to be black lab. Couldnt see any detail, believe me I was tryng! I will look out again later to see where they are and make note of your questions.

Hi-Just jumping in here.....

Years ago, my 18 yr. old cousin was found unconscious in the Shawnee National Forest in Southern IL with no identification. They ran news stories and police sketches in the papers and on local tv to find out his identity. Unfortunately, he was from Northern IL (approx 7 hrs away), and we never saw any of this coverage......

Finally, (and surprisingly), local authorities conducted a ground search of the forest using prisoners from the Shawnee correctional center. They finally found his backpack hidden on the edge of a farmer's property that abutted to the forest property. They were able to identify him and contact family to come to the hospital (a week had passed)....

BUT, my point is....I hope that they have the same results (finding what they are looking for in dense woods) by having additional feet on the ground!!

Their purpose is also they cant see anything. But yes they are still up.

In other cases the helicopters were told they couldnt fly within a certain area to decrease the risk to the searchers. (Aka crash risk). Also if they found something they couldnt see it and post it. I know with Zahras case they had a hieght restriction when they got close to her body part locations. They made the news people fly sooo high nothing was visible from the helicopter cam. Has anyone heard or know of any flight restrictions on the area?
