Yes, they are searching near/in the house where they are saying and a creek area a few blocks from the house where they had been living at the time of the disappearance.

I haven't followed many cases live and no searches that I can recall (aside from the cistern search last week), is re-routing a creek something that is normally done or does this seem more ominous?

they said they were fanning into the woods west and south of jackson (strange shape on the map) but not exactly sure where the creek is.. but this is the general area

If I were to consume more than five glasses of wine in one evening, I'm not sure I'd remember a whole lot. That's a lot of wine, IMO.

Draining bodies of water is not all that uncommon and often ends up in a dead end. It's an important and necessary step in clearing an area, but that's about it.

If the box of wine was gone - not in the trash, not in the fridge, etc., that's much more incriminating than anything else.

Remember the search where the reporters could hear clinking of glass? I think at that time, they were searching the garbage/recyclables for the box. If they literally were unable to locate the box, that's bad news.

The whole point of telling us she was drunk and can't remember everything is that she is STAGING a "better" story. She doesn't want the kids interviewed because they will be thrown under the bus, just like George Anthony was.
