Because law enforcement believes that these people were targeted, and this wasn’t a random crime.

Unless they have a specific threat to the public, they rarely say that the public is in danger.

Due to the presence of surveillance cameras, and the targeted nature of this crime, I do think that an arrest is in the offing.
How would LE know they were targeted but not know the motive? I think they do know the motive.

Sometimes it’s the process of elimination and common sense.

No robbery, indicates some sort of vendetta.

Workplace violence is usually a targeted event anyways.

Yeah. In some cases I question the statement in regards to there not being a public danger, but in this particular case, I take it at face value.

This appears to be a personal thing, a grudge, as you say. I’m leaning towards a current or recently fired employee.

I also like the idea that this could be an angry renter or something along those lines.

Pretty angry killer to do that... I think about similar crimes where there were murders closer to home before hitting the targeted spot. Hopefully, they will be zeroing in on the suspect soon.

Yeah. There’s plenty of examples where the killing starts at home, moves to work or school, then ends in suicide.

You probably already have been thinking it, but remembering Mark Barton (Georgia) in ‘99. He was more of a spree killer, I guess. He did not kill himself until he was cornered.

And rent is usually due on the 1st of the month

I haven’t heard anything in that regard.

It’s pretty remarkable that this amount of time has passed, and we still know very little.

North Dakota ain’t Mars, but it might as well be.

'Several' bodies found at North Dakota business | Daily Mail Online

Police announced in a brief statement Monday morning that they had found 'several' bodies while responding to a 'medical call' to RJR. As hours passed without additional information, people with friends or loved ones who work at RJR gathered beyond a police line, anxious for news about those inside.

Bill and Lois Cobb worked at RJR Maintenance and Management in Mandan, near Bismark and their bodies were found around 7am.

Police Chief Jason Ziegler said: 'It's quite a large crime scene, so it's not something that's going to be easy for us to get in and do quickly.'

Officers were combing through the building, which includes an office area in the front and a large warehouse area in the back. They said they 'planned to be there for as long as it takes us to get everything that we need', the chief said.

Ziegler said someone other than the four people who were found dead is responsible for the killings. However, police have not yet identified a suspect and have no clear motive.

Lois Cobb's daughter, Bri Miller, who is a mother-of-three, wrote a heartbreaking post on Facebook identifying her mother and step-father as victims.

The other two victims - both men - have not yet been identified.

The company, RJR Maintenance and Management, is in a business district about 100 yards back from a busy main road in Mandan known as The Strip.

So the owners were NOT among the victims.

So the owners were NOT among the victims.

Well, the female owner is not among the victims, based on the fact that 3 of the victims were males and only 1 was female. The female has been identified as Lois Cobb.

I don't think the male owner can be ruled out as being one of the victims yet, unless I've missed something.

Have the other 2 male victims' names been released yet?

North Dakota quadruple homicide suspect at large; tight-lipped cops say victims 'didn't do it themselves'

North Dakota cops probing a mysterious quadruple homicide at a property management company say the person responsible is still at large -- but that's about the only bit of information authorities are disclosing.

Officials remain tight-lipped about a description of the suspect, a potential motive for the killings and any details about the woman and three men found dead inside the Bismarck business.
