Agreed, I think the only two possible answers are (a), ingestion; (b), inhalation. You might be able to hide something like a needle mark; but I doubt you could inject multiple people against their will without them putting up a fight, so injection's out, IMO.

The only issue I see with the inhalation theory is this one quote from Police Chief Ziegler:

These four people didn’t do it themselves,” Ziegler said, noting it’s quite a large crime scene and no suspects have been identified.

Four bodies found at RJR Maintenance and Management

The offices are up front, and there is a warehouse in the back, so wondering how large a crime scene it could be.

If the business opens tomorrow, that’s very telling, IMO. That’s a crime scene with 4 victims processed quickly.

I don’t believe this will go unsolved for long.
Agreed. If this was not a total stranger, I think the perp is being watched right now, while evidence is being gathered and processed....moo

And what makes you as the killer think that your victims would show up first before you have an office full of employees?
Because that was the normal routine? Killer may be part of that routine?

I have the feeling the killer/killers moved bodies out of office sight, while waiting for the intended target/targets to arrive....moo

The warehouse looks large to me. If they do maintenance and yard work there's probably a ton of tools and equipment in there. Possible makeshift weapons.

Right. So that speaks to either inside knowledge or extensive surveillance to get to some kind of an idea of people's schedule and routines.

The more I look at this, the more I am moving away from the outsider disgruntled with the company person theory. Usually, in those cases the perp usually waits until the entire office is fully staffed before they begin their attack to take out as many people as possible.

Just recently posted on the business FB page is actually a statement about where to drop rent payments tomorrow - in the drop box on the property. Not so sure I'd feel comfortable doing that.

I assume that would be the boss? Just thinking and IMO.

Not sure of the dynamics of RJR, and who be the first to clock in, but it does make me wonder if they were taken down one by one as they came to work. Chilling, if so.

The video didn’t have enough evidence to account for all the victims and when they arrived, so maybe there is another pull in area where workers parked outside of the video mentioned in MSM?

Lots of love and prayers to the co-workers and families of the victims.

Here's one of the articles that refers to the 10 PM Sunday- Monday morning vehicles on the surveillance camera. Police: 'Several' bodies found at North Dakota business

Darin Helbling, a manager at a nearby bowling alley, said police asked to see his business' surveillance video. Helbling said the video showed only a couple of vehicles on the road that separates the businesses since 10 p.m. Sunday.

RJR's website identified it as a family-owned company that has been handling commercial and residential properties in Bismarck and Mandan for more than 20 years. Its services include collecting rent for landlords, paying mortgages, re-renting apartments, building and grounds maintenance, lawn care, and snow removal. It also rents out storage units.

A "Meet Our Team" feature on the website pictured 22 employees.

I agree do need to know when and how the victims got to work -and whether their movements were caught on CCTV. Though I wonder if it was dark whether the CCTV picked up all the movements (I'm not sure what time sunrise would be?).

I also personally believe that one person (maybe the owner) was the intended target and that the others were just unfortunately in the way. The heart attack victim could have tried to defend someone in the attack and is more likely to be one of the older victims IMHO.

But folks, hard as it is to imagine the scenario and movements of the victims and the killer (and how the latter got in and out) we also shouldn't forget the early report on page 1 - that there was a survivor or named person who found them - see my snip for info below:

'Gina Kessel, 52, of Mandan, showed up at the business Monday to pick up her son, Mitchell Kessel, an employee there. She said Mitchell “called me, said something is going on.” She said he didn’t tell her what.

The pair hugged, with both of them crying. Her son did not speak before going back behind a police line.'

Thanks. I tried to quickly scan back through the thread and couldnt find how we are focused on someone doing it on purpose.

That helps to understand the focus. Thanks.

The Cobb’s daughter told MSM that the police told her the parents were attacked. Will look for link.

The Cobbs were married. Lois Cobb’s daughter, Briann Miller, of Girard, Illinois, said her mom and stepdad had moved to North Dakota six years ago from Illinois and recently bought their dream home. She said authorities gave her no details on how they died.

“I just know that it was an attack,” Miller said. “I don’t know how it happened, what it happened with. I’m left in the dark still. None of this makes any sense. All I know is my parents are gone.”

SABBM

Yes, it was on the business' FB page that they expect to resume business tomorrow.
That was quick !
Besides processing the crime scene... wouldn't there be bodily fluids to clean up ?

Graphic below : :(

Blood, possibly tissue --plus don't people release waste at death ?

And then, do the surviving employees just try to conduct business as usual ?
It sounds difficult for them to deal with.
If the deaths happened in a room with a conference table, do they get a different table , and if it was elsewhere in the offices... maybe rearrange cubicles ?
Thinking out loud, as I'd have expected the RJR business to stay closed for a few more days.

The building has many surveillance cameras, per this article.

All in all, there is a person out there with nothing left to lose. He got his (or maybe her) point across, I assume. Hopefully, the local law enforcement are on his tail.

Thank you! It would have still been dark.

ETA: Again, messed up with the +quote feature. Thanks, NickoD for the information on the level of darkness.

Business has surveillance cameras, but police don’t know if the crime was caught on camera, per Chief Ziegler.

Interestingly, he also said “he does not believe the public is in any danger, but urged the public to be vigilant.”
