Besides processing the crime scene... wouldn't there be bodily fluids to clean up ?

<snip>

Once the scene is released the crime scene cleanup crew takes over. They are the guys with the hazmat suits and the pressure washers.

Because they deal with a traumatic event they are fast.
Because they deal with insurance companies they are thorough.

Yes, it was on the business' FB page that they expect to resume business tomorrow.
That was quick !

Graphic below : :(

Blood, possibly tissue --plus don't people release waste at death ?
And then, do they just try to conduct business as usual ?
It sounds difficult for the surviving employees to deal with.
If the deaths happened in a room with a conference table, do they get a different table , and if it was elsewhere in the offices... maybe rearrange cubicles ?
Thinking out loud, as I'd have expected the RJR business to stay closed for a few more days.

I suspect they all need to get back to work quickly, since their financial lives depend on it. Not sure how they will do it, but I am not sure they have a choice. IMO.

RJR's website identified it as a family-owned company that has been handling commercial and residential properties in Bismarck and Mandan for more than 20 years. Its services include collecting rent for landlords, paying mortgages, re-renting apartments, building and grounds maintenance, lawn care, and snow removal. It also rents out storage units.

A "Meet Our Team" feature on the website pictured 22 employees.

Police: Business owner, 3 employees killed in Mandan shooting; no suspect yet in custody

“four people found slain...”

Business has surveillance cameras, but police don’t know if the crime was caught on camera, per Chief Ziegler.

Interestingly, he also said “he does not believe the public is in any danger, but urged the public to be vigilant.”
If the killer was someone from within the company, they might've been capable of turning the cameras off.

I wouldn't quite know how to get back to business as usual. Owner has been killed along with 3 other employees. With only 22 employed, I think they all know each other and it would be more than difficult to go back...JMO.

Can business be conducted without the owners? Is payroll still able to operate? I'm just pondering things over..

Here's one of the articles that refers to the 10 PM Sunday- Monday morning vehicles on the surveillance camera. Police: 'Several' bodies found at North Dakota business

Darin Helbling, a manager at a nearby bowling alley, said police asked to see his business' surveillance video. Helbling said the video showed only a couple of vehicles on the road that separates the businesses since 10 p.m. Sunday.

BBM. If this is exactly what he said, then I find this telling. It just shows one approach/just that road. At least it sounds like that, imo.

And what makes you as the killer think that your victims would show up first before you have an office full of employees?
Maybe, as the killer, I know the schedules and habits of the office???

Mr. and Mrs. Fagler were the owners of the company..... Mr. Cobb was the Maintenence Supervisor.... Mrs. Cobb was the Company Accountant..... Mr. Fueheur was a maintaince man.................We need more basic info...... Something is "hinky" about this case and the video info that has been given out....moo
I agree. Hinky.

This case also has a creepy vibe.

There were two owners; Mrs. F. was not a victim.

If the employees are close, they may want to be together and as much as possible maintain their normal routine. Sometimes it's easier to grieve in that way.

So the public is not in danger and the other employees are returning to work and the business is opening. The scene is processed and complete. All of these things taken on their face mean not even other employees have to worry that any other employee other than those taken out already might be a target, the public does not have to worry and they have all of the evidence they need (crime scene released).

Just guessing but if all true then it is known who did it, who was targeted and why. If not all true, then wth?

As an accountant, I can say things could go on if the owner had a key man life insurance policy. That would pay for things like an interim CEO and such; and business could move forward. Payroll is still able to operate as long as they have an assigned signer for the bank account. Usually the accountant wouldn’t be a signer for security purposes.

Quite true, and no word about her whereabouts, status, etc, that I've seen. How hard would that be, too, going into work after your husband and several employees have been killed. I only mean this respectfully, it has to be difficult, especially only 2 days later.

I did notice on the business FB page there is a name of a man who appears to be running the page, at least. BP initials. He has posted thanks to the community and also the update about dropping rental checks tomorrow. But, he could be just that, the SM director.

'We just don't have answers': Mystery surrounds killing of 4 people at North Dakota business

Snipped from above article:

There were security cameras inside the building but the chief did not say if the crime was on video.

I wonder if the cameras were working yesterday or if they had been turned off/disabled.
LE has unquestionably reviewed any existing footage from inside that building by now.
They're just keeping it to close to the vest, so as not to tip their hand to the perp(s).

JMO.

Forgive me if this has been answered, where is the company truck seen leaving? (on bowling alley camera)

Mandan business owners continue 'business as usual' after multiple...
“This is very disturbing for all of the businesses in town,” said Patti Regan, executive director of AID Inc. “It’s a sad situation.”

While it is “business as usual” for many downtown Mandan businesses and agencies, following the discovery of four bodies at RJR Maintenance and Management Monday, Regan said she feels “everybody” in the community has a heightened sense of alertness, especially local businesses.

I bet they’ll keep office doors locked, anyone making a payment will use the drop box, which is prob’ normal procedure for them. Jmo

Probably not wanting any curious people contacting her, and maybe LE are protecting her ? After all, her spouse was just murdered.
I'd imagine as co-owner she'd be able to temporarily steer the company, or take charge as someone has to run it ?

The business page manager may also be crucial for helping the company in the following days.

I feel for those employees . If this had happened elsewhere it'd still be tough to handle ; but in your daily place of work ?

And that poor employee who called his mom. I don't know if he is the one who discovered the scene.
But, yeah, I might have to quit and look for employment elsewhere.
